Here's the thing about lobsters that you know only if you've worked with them: you can cut its head from its body or jab your knife into its brain, and they still move for up to 15 mins after they die. They are mostly nerve and muscle. So the moving you see is more reflex than a concious panic.

@Tland0026 I don't see why just because something happens in the wild, its makes any sense. Its true that two animals would tear eachother apart if their lives depended on it. Anything would lower to violent measures if it means survival. If you put a group starving people together with one slice of bread, they'd fight tooth and nail for it. That doesn't mean its alright, especially if we can avoid it.
Im no vegan, I eat whatever tastes good/is good for me. I just dont like that logic.

@Tland0026 Lol, sharks don't even like eating humans. They either mistake us for a seal or try us and leave us cause we taste revolting to them. And whether tigers eat humans or just attack anyone in their presence as self-defense or for dominance, is up to debate and proper scientific study that anyone can do. It's embarrassing when "the wild" is used to justify eating something alive. If you wanna eat it, just say so. I prefer my cantonese duck dead.

Here's the thing about lobsters that you know only if you've worked with them: you can cut its head from its body or jab your knife into its brain, and they still move for up to 15 mins after they die. They are mostly nerve and muscle. So the moving you see is more reflex than a concious panic.

@mavely3000 Lobsters are about as high up on the evolutionary scale as a cockroach. Their nervous systems are so simple they don't feel pain. If you have ever stepped on a bug then you can't feel bad about the lobster because it's the same thing.
