any organisation that demands money and forbids individual thought is a cult. If you have a deficiency of insulin you correct it with medication. If you have a deficiency of seratonin you correct it with medication and get on with your life. Some people simply do not get better with therapy or lifestyle changes so medication is required. Modern SSRI's are non addictive and are very safe when prescribed by a medical professional. You don't need 'quacks' like scientology. It's about the money.
its a dangerouse cult. on youtube csearch "the unfunny truth about scientology" it is a bit scary but will tell you all about it. basiclly its a big scam that kills people

According to the information in the video it seems a Scientologist hid medication opposing his beliefs and on discovering his son uncon, failed to call 911 and instead called the Church (presumably to get advice on what to do).
I agree the was not the proper thing to do, when faced with a medical situation esp an emergency the policy is DOCTOR.
After and if DOCTOR can not find medical condition THEN comes the AUDITOR.
So, father fucked up. I don't see that Scn is to blame for father.

We don't know what advice the Church gave. Again, it should have been to call a doctor.
I don't see how Scientolgy can be called evil in this intance because the POLICY is to call a doctor. Are you saying we're evil because the policy says to do the right thing or because some people fail to follow the policy? Either way it is a fairly gross generalization to brand a group as evil because of the errors of some of its followers.
Were that the case, nearly all groups would be "evil".

And they should have immediately told him to call for help. They didn't.
