  • LMAO! *blam*

  • OWNED

  • And that man just broke the first rule of hunting. never point the barrel of the gun at your face, always treat the gun as if it's loaded even if it isn't.

  • @Mustang84211 That man was a cartoon.

  • WOW..........................funny shit lol

  • Oh... my god...

I am never gonna get that image out of my head D,:

  • D: <-- I pulled this face for about a minute the first time I saw this.

  • I'm on the dogs' side but this was a sad scene because the man was innocent.

  • This makes me sad.

  • No children its not bloods its um tomato sauce

  • OMG!THAT SEEMS MMMOOOORRRRREEEEE SCARY THAN WATERSHIP DOWN!!!!

  • where does this fit into the plot?

  • @TheXboxReviewer it starts a rumor that the dogs were responsible for the death of the man because they had the plague, i think. its been awhile since ive seen it so im not positive

  • Like a boss.

  • Somebody tell me why I spend mt time watching things like plauge dogs, felidae, animal farm and Watership down...Does anyone know any other movies like this! :D

  • i tried reading this book but i never finished it, do the dogs actually have the plague or is it just called that for some reason?

  • @puck889 no, they don't

they tell people they have the plague, so they will be captured or killed faster

it's just a method to prevent them from escaping

  • I don't remember this scene in the movie!

  • As Nostalgia critic would say "You know, for kids!"

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

  • Don't feel bad. This is the same dog that was mauling rabbits in Watership Down.

  • oh JESUS!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, that is efft!

  • something similar this is actually happened and reported at least one time: the rifle was on the ground, the dog stepped upon the shotgun, accidentally pulled the trigger and then firing it; fortunatly his master has been hitted to just a leg and he recovered perfectly

  • I can see the similarities between this and Watership Down. They both have horror, blood and violence and are both shockingly made for kids!

  • I thought this was going to be the bounty hunter scene

  • just won this film on e bay the original video cant wait to see it x

  • Can't say I was expecting that. Thank you for this clip.

  • Never point a gun at yourself -.-

  • Not gonna lie. If there was ever a justification for the phrase, "Sweet saint Mary, mother of God" this would definitely be it.

  • *safety catch*

  • The book that this movie is based on was made by the same author as that of watership down.

  • This isn't funny I was shot in the face by a dog with the plague and it's no laughing matter I can tell you that!

  • @adolfknievel

Yeah, I don't offen assosiate getting shot in the face by a dog with the plague to be humourous.

  • @adolfknievel They dont have the plague, The rats at the laboratory they escaped from had it (Im pretty sure the rats escaped and werent even searched for)

  • Joly good fuck, That is, blood on your face mate.

  • Jesus. It's the music that does it.

  • i was definatly not expecting that coming

this is beyond watership down standards

  • e_o

  • YER FACE GODDAMMIT

  • 0:44 and that is how the Joker got his scars

  • ohh shit did not expect that

  • that has just scared me for life

  • This movie is fucked up.. But it's great. Just like Watership Down. I think it's the animation...

  • Shish who else was NOT expecting that!

  • @TheCGIMaster FUCK!!!!! I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!!!!!! 0_0

  • note to self: Don't ever have your gun near where you are when you want to hug your dog

  • Oh my Frizzin God...

  • Hunter was stupid..

  • I guess the Hunter Had it Rough!!!!

  • D8

  • Is this meant to be a children's cartoon? O.o

  • Is this a childrens cartoon?

  • Holy fucking jesus christ.

  • Actually, one of the main things I admire about this film is that it took its darkness seriously; it didn't TRY to shock you.

  • o-e omg that was epic and twisted at the same time

  • I remember watching this as a child on a pirated VHS tape.

  • Wow. That's some flippin' harsh karma for you. Disgusting! My little brother freaked out.

  • it was his own damn fault stupid hunter, never have the gun barrel aimed anywhaere to you. what he shouldve done was put it way at the side or put it down on the ground where its not aimed at anything living.

  • JESUS CHRIST! O.o

  • O3o

    wow... just...

    wow xDDD

  • Gah! Reverse Karma! Be nice to stray dog get face blown off!

Uh, this is what happens when you forget your gun safety, you get a horrific accident.

  • @JonTonify Um, the hunter is the only nice person to the dogs

  • fucking lol

  • We watched this when we were kids. We had this. We learned. We survived.

It's official. Kids today are pussies.

  • @zackunderscorefalcon thats pretty funny, cos its definitely not a childrens film. im not splitting hairs here or anything - watership down and films like that are, but this definitely isnt, its full of graphic violence and swearwords.

  • @DiscoStorm, I watched this when I was a kid. :|

Besides. It's not like we (my generation, which wasn't too long ago, mind you) had much choice. Back then, even DISNEY slips something *uncomfortable* in their cartoons.

  • I watched this and Watership Down my freshman year of High School.

    Forever changed.

  • This is a REAL movie, before we had shitty CGI and kids were completely sheltered pussies.

I don't know about any of you, but this is the stuff I watched when I was a kid. Along with Watership down. They made me appreciate animals, and learn about real life.

This movie helped to expose animal testing for what it was back then. You don't hear these new half-arsed happy sunshine movies accomplishing things like that, now do you?

  • @RABIDMUTTproductions I bet you think you're REAL tough huh? "Oh yeah I watched this hardcore shit when I was 8 yrs old!". All kids shouldn't have to be exposed to disturbing concepts like animal testing and gun violence. Just because you were raised different, you approve of murdering Childhood innocence?

  • @codafett No, I don't. Foul language + honesty ≠ "tough guy."

This movie does not promote either. In fact, it does quite the opposite. Kids today play Call Of Duty and other such things that actually romantacize war and gun violence. Animal testing is generally ignored as an issue. This movie doesnt.

And I hate to break it to you but children are FAR from innocent. Go to any school or playground, and you examples of violence, deception, and social darwinism. Kids screw each other over daily.

  • @RABIDMUTTproductions call of duty doesn't romanticize violence, its a harmless outlet. And Children are innocent, how dare you try to argue with me!

  • @codafett Hah! Harmless outlet! I'd spend all my comment space explaining how stupid that sounded, but that'd be incredibly rude.

Lol yes, how dare I have an opinion. Children are not innocent, have you ever been a child? Were you the bully, or the bullied? Or maybe you were homeschooled. That would explain a lot.

  • @RABIDMUTTproductions WHY ARE WE STILL ARGUING!?

  • @codafett You tell me.

I wouldn't call it arguing, though.

  • @Mewtwo465 Yes, I have. The first one was dark, the second was pretty mild (at least in comparison, it was more depressing than scary) while the third one was VERY dark.

However, my main point was that this movie actually ACCOMPLISED something. One being: Exposing the evils of animal testing.

Toy story may be a good movie, but I've never seen it do something quite like that.

  • @RABIDMUTTproductions

Oh right. Well yeah I do agree with you. This film accomplished something pretty big. But I know something about Toy Story 3 that most people don't know. If you want to know about it you can tell me through a message. I'm not being rude or anything but I'm just saying. I don't want anyone here to say, "That's bullshit"! or anything like that. So a message will be preferred.

  • @Mewtwo465 Sure. Go ahead.

  • @RABIDMUTTproductions

OK. You'll get a message in a few seconds.

  • @RABIDMUTTproductions

I dunno...like yourself, I watched this as a kid (along with The Land Before Time and The Brave Little Toaster), and I think it took something away from me to be honest...I wouldn't hurt animals for no reason, but I don't have that "soft spot" for them, and I think it's partly down to watch such serious films as a kid. Along with a lot of other stuff of course.

  • @DasGrausam Yes, admittedly this can have negative effects. I'm not saying we should plop a bunch of infants infront of, say, Felidae, and say: "Here ya' go, kids!!1! Watch this!! dur!" But this film did accomplish so much.

I love animals. And I thought anyone doing this to a dog was terrible. But, the only blatant death of an animal in this movie would have to be..the fox. The death of the dogs was only suggested. So I didn't understand.

(You watched The Brave Little Toaster?? Holy crap!)

  • @RABIDMUTTproductions

ah right, (completely missed the part about it NOT being Watership Down btw) - been so long since I watched it, and I remember there being a section in that with dogs attacking the rabbits.

My father was a bit messed up in the head, used to let me watch Hellraiser films as a kid as well...which was the "other stuff".

Love this style of animation though, even this style of 2D animation, compared to the more basic line-drawn stuff we get now.

  • @DasGrausam ? I never said anything about Watership down. This video is on "The Plague Dogs".

But, watership down was graphic. Much more graphic, in my opinion, than this.

Heh. Coincidence. My dad was similar. But he didn't let me watch Hellraiser. Oh goodness.

I've always valued 2D animation over the 3D/computor animation we have now. Mainly because of the hard work required to make a movie hand-drawn. Computor animation can be good though.

  • @DasGrausam

Yeah Watership Down was mentioned in the info box from the uploader. I just think this style looks better in general, and I've found you feel more with this style than with 3D animation. At least I do.

I think the only film I've seen where (in cgi) where I felt something was the Anime Steamboy, but the cgi was done to match the hand-drawn/painted, so it didn't seem out of place, except for being a bit too smooth in the movement.

  • @RABIDMUTTproductions It annoys me when people consider loving animals sheltered.

  • @Milomia9 I wasn't talking about people loving animals. I for one adore them. This movie did more for animals than any new age movie ever did or will.

  • @RABIDMUTTproductions No, I mean you say knowing about this stuff is un-sheltered and yet so many people consider caring for animals and being against this stuff as sheltered.

  • @Milomia9 Being against it isn't sheltered. Not knowing what to do upon being exposed to it after years of nothing but rainbows is sheltered.

Anyone who thinks caring for others, including animals, is being sheltered, needs a reality check.

I hope I cleared myself up. Sorry about that.

  • Christ.

  • O.O

  • If he got shot from that close his head wouldnt be there. Theres not enough blood. And I highly doubt hed still have enough sense to put his hands in frontt of his face. With that said, the dog should have TOTALLY started humping his face for lulz.

  • Well, I watched this first when I was five so I've gotten used to this.

  • the movie is a special piece of art. the dogs...behind their words there is always another uncomfortable message

  • O.O

  • ......

  • I have this on my instant netflix cue but have not watched it yet.

  • And my sister faints....

  • That part made me feel sad. :(

  • you know...FOR KIDS!

  • what the fuck was wrong with these guys??

  • Awwwwwww. The dog didn't mean to.

  • @okamiweed

    Or did it O_O

    Dun dun DUUUUUUUN!

    :P

  • @TheAbridgedGamer

Snitter: Ahhh. "Screw it." *Shoots man with gun* MAMAMAMAMAHAQHAHAHHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!

  • Is this scene in the standard DVD?

  • I thought this looked like watership down. And then I read the description.

  • I'm half way through the book and believe it or not the books description of the experiments are more horrifying than the movie.

  • W-W-Wh-Wh-Wha-Wha-WhatTheFlippingHeck?

  • Haha :)

  • I watched this movie....there are like 4 accidental human deaths that just blast out of no where. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone, I get the point that they are trying to show how reality really is, but the movie was so bleak and slow....I fell asleep a few times. Besides all the human death, most of the movie are the two dogs just wandering aimlessly in their angst.

  • @CluelessUke98 it is bleak and slow. so was the road and that was also a fantastic novel then movie.

  • poor snitter has a screwed up mind!!:\ id hate to be himm!

  • Disney movies should be like this!

  • Comment removed

  • You know, for kids!

  • @im2not2cory that doesn't work here. this film was never intended for kids in the first place, you're just assuming it is because it's animated.

  • I hope all dogs learn this and kill all hunters.

  • I was expecting the dog to be sick or something so he has to put it out of it's misery....WTF is this?!?

  • unexpected death number 5: you get shot in the face by a dog

  • Something like this happened recently but with a fox

  • l o l

  • It's the hunter's fault for having the gun pointed at his face. Thats the first ting you learn about guns, never have it pointed at you or anyone else.

  • @picatsoforfma Unless you intend to use it.

  • This is the one point of the movie where I knew I was in for a fucked up ride.

  • So unexpected, Charlie Brooker wins again

  • Haha of all the things to happen.

  • I hate to think how many kids saw this due to parents thinking: "cartoon about dogs? Of course it's suitable for kids!" idiots

  • It's Doggy Dick Cheney!

  • Dog needs to learn some trigger discipline

  • This clip was posted in 2006 - it is no longer rare. There's bundles of the un-cut version on Amazon UK for £3.

  • Ca-nine millimetre.

  • Same thing Happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Me and the dog are good friends now though.

  • @MrRica5

You must be one tough son of a bitch to survive that. LOLOLOLOL XD

  • How are you still alive?!

    @MrRica5

  • @dare12288 Luckily the Dog came back with help. I was rushed to hospital and made a full recovery. At first I thought the dog had returned to eat me but alas he wasn't and here I am typing this now drinking a pint with the dog.

  • haha... Good times!

    @MrRica5

  • @MrRica5 XD yup hunters safety course

  • brooker!

  • If Raoul Moat was a dog.

  • love how to dog just starts running for the border XD

  • That dog is such a bitch.

  • ...... whoah......

  • Wow this clip is so clear! Not like the whole movie thats posted up here. o_o

Where did you get thisssss. I'd rather watch the film when it's clear and not all hazey. e.e

  • That has to be the most embarrassing death scene I have ever seen!

Its so absurd and implausible that I just cant imagine it actually happening.

(although I have to admit it did make my jaw drop witch is more than I could say about other films)

  • Ultimate shock moment. Honestly, I watched the film on here and even though people were joking in the comments about the dog getting a headshot, I really wasn't expecting this while watching.

  • Whoo. I was wondering if I should watch this movie. Looks like I just got my answer...

  • Good boy, have a bonio.

  • all i could think while watching this was "oops..."

  • @WolfyPaws13 What is Filedae and Plague dogs about and how scary are they? I am same age as yu but I'm a total movie wuss... even for animations! Give me a hint on how bad they are and wat they are about plz?

  • What are the odds? Seriously, that's the most far-fetched death I've seen in a long time... doesn't detract from the creepiness though.

  • I felt bad for the guy., after all , he was just trying to help snitter :c
