Nebraska 1995 dominated in a way that no team has or will. 38+pt average win differential against 4 top 10 and a dominating performance against #10 KU OU and #2 FU back to back to back... Not to mention, the best part of that team was the defense. Never again a dominance like NU 71-99. Don't talk the blackshirts down for this coming year. Nebraska and Oklahoma always played for the Big 8 Championship. Basically, whoever won THAT game played for the NATIONAL championship.

NU won back 2 back 70 and 71, played for it in 78, 81, 83, 88, 93, Won in 94 & 95, Won in 97, played for it again in 2001.

Michigan has one ONE title since 1948 when they wore LEATHER HELMETS.

From 93-97 Nebraska lost 3 times: Once to Florida State in the title game, Once to Arizona State in a meltdown 19-0 shutout and Once to Texas on an unbelievable 4th down call and play for the win.

60-3 in 5 seasons is impressive regardless of who you root for.
