holy friggin' smokes! Why haven't I heard about this before? THIS LOOKS SO NICE! What I love most is that you can play AS A HUMAN, not just a mobile suit!
Despite the much deserved slaps in the face dished out on my behalf, witch were well deserved, I'll share that we did get a couple of decent Gundam games. Dig out your old Playstation 2 consoles and while Gundam: Federation vs Zeon was a goody it was all the more furthered in Gundam vs Zeta Gundam. Sort of hard to find now but possible, one is pretty much the other's successor and similar to this game sans the out of mech warfare.
It also has an influence-able timeline mode. Very cool.
I think we never got it because the PS3 Piece of $#!+ that was so bad and yet tried to sell at 60 god damn dollars didn't sell well. Really not fair. Many of us were looking forward to this game. There's also talk that Japan is going back to being spiteful about how USA developers are doing better than they are in tech and sales. So there may be a punishment aspect to it too. Seems silly right? Yet some times they'll do things like that.
They never release the good Gundam games in America. We get Crossfire, Musou, and all the other crappy ones... Why can't we get this? Or Gundam VS Gundam Next Plus? Or any of the other good Gundam games!?
@lacusclynne1 Not sure witch name they stuck with for sure. For US if it happened here I think they were going to call it Gundam: One Year War. In JP I think they kept it as Gundam: Operation Troy, but I could be mistaken.
It's sad that we won't get it because of POS game sales on a POS, or that JP is getting butt hurt again, OR maybe they thought their game just wasn't good enough to compete with the American competition world wide.
When you promise a release you should follow through. As far as I'm concerned it was a loss to honor to the company to not bring out it's promised tittle. When is it coming out now? Its October and I've been looking through Amazon, Ebay, even Gamestop and when I type Mobile Ops it says it can't find any matchs.
When I tryed One Year War, it shows some World War II games.
So... is there another delay to the game or are they just out of stock???
i dont think goufs can use rocket launchers the one at 1:27 was shooting rockets so its either a z'gok or a Zaku...but i heard that the game will have dlc...Kampfer and The Mudrock Gundam!!
Goufs can use rocket launchers, not all where produced with the left hand being a gun. Some where stripped of that and the heat rod, basically for ordinary pilots leaving the Goufs you usually see in the anime for ace pilots.

you unlock different mobile suits as you rank up online you get the weapons when u get the mobile suit i think. the mobile suit at 1:27 is the ms-06j zaku II u can c the spiked shoulder and shoulder guard on it

This game came out in Japan in June of 08. US release is scheduled for Oct 1st of 08, or so they say... >_>
