Having not seen a lot yet, one of my interests is understanding the bible in a fuller way which at times is done by simply praying for God to teach the truth and remaining steadfast and faithful tobible reading/memorizing/studying as opposed tofinding some"deeper" way.(This as my critique of myself). In Romans 1 we see the just walks by faith. In the armour of God, is any of these ideals of faith in the Armour? It almost has everything to do with salvation.

This refers to the "church"...but what if your "church" doesn't even really believe in the devil/demons,etc??? Most churches NEVER even mention the devil...some don't even say the name of JESUS. Churches aren't so great these days. Many are just social clubs, full of ignorance,lust, greed and controlling spirits.

great, Holy Spirit video. Such a great sermon. Really, we need to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10). Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. John 1 4:4. Really weren't supposed to be scared of darkness but expose them. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

Sometimes Jesus and the Apostles had to flee. We have to be led by the Holy Spirit as to whether or not to stay put in an area or leave it.

But you're right about the authority of the believer & the power of spiritual warfare. Those things are vital. Too bad so many Christians are totally ignorant of these things & refuse to believe this.

Why would they refuse something that is clearly written in the Bible? Or would they refuse if someone were using spiritual warfare on them so that they refuse to believe it. Was that your point? Modern Christians believe a false doctrine that God automatically protects us from everything, so they don't think they need to pray for protection or do spiritual warfare. But the way God protects us is, He gave us the spiritual weapons & spiritual armor, including prayer for protection, & God expects us to use these things. The early church knew this & prayed daily for protection. Psalm 91 should be prayed a.m. & p.m. for protection, especially from witchcraft, & plead the Blood of Jesus.
