There are so many mistakes from a chemical point of view in her comparison between natural and synthetic dyes! Most synthetic dyes are chemically identical to their natural counterparts. UV light will destroy any dye and fiber in the long run, in fact synthetic dyes tend to have better light fastness. I do like the part on how to ferment indigo but the rest in none-sense.

i wonder how hard it would be to make a dye center at my own house?? how do they do the vats?
