sato is a scrub. kamui has barely been around long and has already achieved more than sato in his small time, makes less mistakes, and makes better passes than anyone on the grid
They say Kbayashi is the best Japanese driver because he makes less mistakes than Sato did when he started. But I don't agree. If you look at what Sato did in his pre-F1 carreer, it's truly impressive. Sato is a great talent, and it's a shame that he isn't in F1 anymore. Kobayashi did nothing more than OK before he went in F1. And I'm sure Sato would've done better than Koba with the same material. Sato has proven to grown in his Super Aguri days, so not to many crashes would've occured.
Well he made some weird mistakes at Honda, but he was great in the Super Aguri, with very few mistakes. I really would like to see him back, but I don't think any ot the teams want him. For Lotus he was a serieus option, but they went with Kovalainen instead. Both inferior to Sato in my opinion....
yeah i agree, but i think there are a few promising people right now, thats the only reason i continue watching, right now i am a big fan of sebastien vettel, i think what he does is purely amazing, and kobayashi i love because he reminds me of Sato, and he got a contract for next year i am so happy XD
im sorry but yuji ide might have been the worst f1 driver of all time.. not saying hes not a good driver.. just not for f1, and nakajima has 0 points this season in relativly the same car as his partner.. who has 34.5.. however takuma sato was awesome.. the most aggresive driver i ever saw live.
We will never now what Ide would eventually be able to do. He only drove in that 2002 Arrows transformed to new regulations with Super Agury livery. What he showed in that car doesn't say much.
Nakajima was very disappointing. I expected him to be better, but he showed that he's just not good enough.
Honda were a dreadful engine supplier specially to jordan...and the honda team was fairly crap as well button +barrichello did abeosutley superbly to score points in a such a badly made car of honda
you're an idiot, they created drifting as it is today, they have one of the best F1 racers and they make some of the best cars out there. I don't see any cars from Belgium huh? where are they?
Sato has something that is rare in F1, gigantic balls. Everybody knows that, its his reputation to not be afraid of crashing, he just goes, even if its almost sure he's gonna crash
thats the MAN of f1... goes out with a bang and doesnt give a fuck and gets paid peanuts... at least he shows more than ralf schumacher and he gets 25 million a year(2nd highest paid driver for 2007)if i was sato, id say fuck yo f1 cars! either i want it all or nothing....
That start at Monaco was awesome. Who gains that many spots that high on the grid at MONACO? I remember DC whining (big surprise) that Sato jumped... because the FIA might miss something like that.
Sato was fun to watch tho... I mean the dude was was fun to watch... he was daring (to the point of insanity I'll admit. I wish he was back with Honda... as he's deserves to be in a faster car.
I'd rather see some Ide footage, spinning, crashing, etc. Even Katayama, de Cesaris, Nakajima... Sato is a fast driver, sometimes erratic, but surely not a crasher
you even make it to F1 you are good, how many kids trying to get into this, like I said just getting into Indy or F1 as a driver is huge

well its his "stupidness" that lead him to the podium and had him accomplish phenomenal lap times recently
intelsilver 4 years ago
I guess his podium places are the ones that bankrupted Super Aguri. :)

Or it may of been the fact that the Super Aguri's weren't competetive enough and didnt get very good results
