Yes, its a touch screen.. its not factory.. it is a Pioneer Avic X920BT.... nice head unit. The 2008 and up have a MYGIG factory touch unit.. great HU.. you can retro a mygig unit in a pre 2008 300.. but the kit with the radio is around $1200 and you have to modify the bezel.. but its worth it...
what does it matter? its the internet... im not even sure why ur on my B, we never got along. Youre calling a care that has 400HP to its wheels slow? So when I do my cam, head job and intake manifold swap and Im close to 600 is it slow then because its missing a BMW badge? Or is my naturally aspirated 640HP vette that weighs less than 3000LBS slow, bc it was build in St. Louis?
@88cargod88 I watch this video everyday, I don't think your car is slow, its not like, superfast, but for Gods sake, its a four door, dude acts like he is expecting you to run a 8 second quarter mile, with only a few bolt on mods. The MDS deactivation is awesome to say the least. If you have a set of headers installed you need to stop the MDS or when you get off the pedal it pulls like a rocket. the MDS only saved like 1MPG on average. The ESP CAN be turned off in the DS pred. however its only like 99% turned off. And to be honest.. this car needs it, got a wild rear end... if you get into an accident your screwed... SEARCH the $5 NO ESP SWITCH MOD its on forums. toggle switch full on or full off

@norra124 The plastics are ok. There are some gaps, but that is expected, they are honestly tighter and fit better than most of the cars I have ever been in. It feels like quality with the exception if the heat and arcon control knobs, but those can be replaced easily with billet pieces for liek $50 and the ONLY other thing as far as plastic goes is the snap in connector for the sun visor, its weak and breaks. I was reading somewhere that GM makes a clip connector that is the same for like $5.
@norra124 As far as your question with the WIND/road noise...... that honestly depends like 90% on your tire and how big your wheels are. SOme retards out 22s and 24s on these cars, and it rubs, the tires have to be low pros.... biggest you should go is 20s and its pusing it. You need a quality tire like the Nitto Invo or a Falken FK452 forget toyos and yokos.. shitty tires. Other than that... the weather striping and bonding ares are welded and sealed perfectly!

That is stock exhaust. That was right after I put the ARIA CAI on, filled her up with 91 and predator tuned. Since these two videos... I have done a full exhaust install. I plan to make another vid shortly!
Not bad 300c Hemi my dad owns '05 300c Hemi and he's makin like 480-490hp and thats without tha diablo predator he doesnt want to lose his warrentee but he only has a few bolt-ons Like, Magnaflow Exhaust , K&N C.A.I and throttle spacer , throttle body and he did 14.26 but that was a Stock Pass Now he has some power he can do mid to low 13's now the 300c Is a DAMN Boat the '05 300c were 3500-3800 Lbs and tha new '10-'11 300c Hemi is 4091 Lbs bcuz they have a stronger front end
The predator has shown to give 10 minimum 15 at best improvement. The 180 TSTAT shows a 2HP gain over time and the BT catch can alone is supposed to give 5HP due to the change of the detonation no longer having returned oil into the intake manifold.
The exhaust will be changed on my car on MONDAY will include removal of suitecase/resonator .. stock mufflers and adding in borla S types with no blastin bobs. Supposed to gain an additional 10HP so lets add 42-47HP gain 314 - 319HP
Ok, no one here is a world class engine builder. If my comments were read properly, I never stated 340 to the wheels.
340 is stock to the crank, I never dyno'd the car therefore I had no way of estimating actual power. I all know is 340BHP to crank MINUS the industry world standard of Auto tranny 20% drive train /RWD loss = 272HP. The ARIA intake itself has been tested on other 300 5.7 to give alone 15HP peak addition.
MDS doesn't rob horsepower, it seemlessly goes back to 8 cylinder in cruising. what you removed was called the torque management. Also, your engine is not putting down 340hp. It is 280hp max to the wheels.
Its 340 to the crank, possible a tad more. Minus rule of thumb 20% for drive-train loss for rear wheel drive is around 280. I never said I was 340 to wheels. But thank you for the clarification for viewers.
TO rebuttal your MDS claim. Yes MDS does rob horsepower, it clicks off two cylinders in the motor and severely takes take torque. If you have done the MODs I have or more, you would see the power advantage gain with it off.
The torque loss you are stating is from the Diablo predator turing off the torque management when is in place on a stock vehicle to aid in smoother shifts and to lessen wear on the transmission. You can also turn it off by turning off the traction control on the dash beside the hazard blinker switch and using the manual shift option or slap shifting option on all 300c'.
@corvettels9 Nope, there is no way with "mods" you can gain 60hp so don't be silly. The 300c in stock form is about 285 to the wheels. There is no way that you can regain 55hp with bolt ons with this car. I know, I own one.
@BlazerLT As do I, and I can tell you it's certainly possible. For example. A Ford 200 Inline 6 with a seven bolt main can gain 40 dyno horsepower from just an aluminum head versus the stock cast iron head. there's 66 2/3% of the 60 horsepower, and that's on an old technology motor.
And for your information, the term "mods" does not neccesarily entail bolt-ons alone. A mod is anything that is changed on the car from its stock factory form. My custom grille, for example, is a mod.

For one, the stock air filter is not restrictive and doesn't hinder horsepower at all and even the 91 octane tune with a predator will net at most 8-10 horsepower. So with that mindset, the exhaust is netting 45 horsepower gain? Any hemi tuner will laugh at this kind of ricer math.

180Tstat, opens the fans up and keeps the car 20deg cooler. With a predator after this mod you can click your fans to come on 20deg faster as well. less heat = more HP and just overall better operating exp
I have the same thing 5.7 etc. Mine acts like there is a hole is the gas tack if my foot is in it but if I drive like a grandpa I can get ballpark 20mpg with the foot to the floor board once in awhile... I have had as low as 9mpg at the track after exhaust intake catch can and 103 octane to 34ish on a trip... And that's not cheating by resetting the mpg counter thing over and over
You are prob using 87OCT, the car NEEDS A MINIMUM of 89 TO RUN.
The sluggish if its till persists some guys are getting a predator and and a intake like I did, and tuning the ECM to accept 91OCT and a dif air/fuel curve. If you want a good deal, call LANCE at Airflow Innovations. Tell him LOUIS from Las Vegas 300CFORUMZ sent you.
If its still too sluggish after that for you, some guys are boring their throttle body's out 20MM, my next mod...
To be completely honest, no. Chips are a horrible boost in performance. This engine is sensitive. I would remove the chip, get a nice intake, the Aria intakes are cheap enough. Grab a predator and let it properly tune your air to fuel ratio. It may cost a tad more, but the last thing you want is problems. In fact what you're doing now may be hurting performance more than the chip is worth.
@88cargod88 its not a chip its just like the predator u connect it from under same spot you connect the diablo predator and you tune it on how you want it and u can update it on internet same way you do it with the diablo and after the chip acceleration and switching gears is way quickerr

If you get Exhaust For any 300c hemi or tha SRT-8 Go with Magnaflow It has tha best sound and most hp Gain the make like 25-40hp more
