I don't understand where did this come.from the prophet never danced or had a gathering like this ...sufism has preislamic roots as I understand perhaps this is one of the actions which are preislamic

@akid113090 Sir, you are mistaken on both counts. The Prophet did attend such gatherings and this is well evidenced and documented in many authenticated hadith texts. As for dancing (as you refer to it), it was approved on more than an occasion by the Prophet (s) and dhikr ceremonies where harakat and dance-like movements were employed were performed. Again, numerous, rigorously authentic hadiths attest to this fact.

@akid113090 Additionally, Sufism is no more pre-Islamic than Islam is pre-Muhammad. The Hanafi religion existed prior to Muhammad (s) and was revealed to all the prophets (a) before him. Muhammad (s) was commissioned to confirm the truth of Allah's message and filter out all fallacy & innovation accrued. Likewise, mystical paths existed before Muhammad (s), but like with Islam itself, Sufism saw its advent with the commissioning of Muhammad (s) as a prophet.
