This is about the same time i started watching wrestling that came on late on friday and saturday nights. This was so much better than wrestling is today.
That's what I miss about the old school....THE TWITCHERS!!!! Nobody twitches today!!! Can you imagine if Jimmy Valiant got put through a table today? The convulsions would be off the chart!!!! LOL!!!
as much as i love old jimmy valiant i really don't really think he was stong enough to bodyslam the gang. thats why they make the storyline go that way.
Hogan and Beefcake came through Memphis early in their careers as the Boulder Brothers - Terry and Eddie Boulder. Probably around '79 or '80. Beefcake had the same long blond hair look then as he did here.
Example when Vince started showing wwf on tv in the mid atlantic area if there was a ballgame on in his time slot he paid for his for his entire shows to be shown if crockette,s were interupted they would only show half of his shows or none at all because crockett didn,t pay for anymore than he had to and that,s sad because i always looked foward co crockett,s shows
Man that is too funny!

Vince thank-you for killing good pro-wrestling like this. Actually, we should blame the brisco's considering they sold
to him.

Really you can blame Jim Crockett he just didn,t give a shit about his product and you can throw Dusty in the mix too.

At least vince dressed his wrestlers better than a t-shirt with their name on it.
But I do miss the action of the territories.

Not only his t-shirt but his sweats look like they were bought from the Dollar Store. Low budget wrestling at it's finest.

I always love it when Jimmy Valiant suffers a beatdown; his body twitching is terrific.

Brutus Beefcake with a cameo. You know, when I have a bad day at work I should run up to my boss and yell "I gotta have my music!!!"
