I love your work, best mod in minecraft. for minecraft 1.2, jungle mobs like apes would rock!

Also, bugs would be reaaallllyyy cool.

This one might be a little hard, but moles would fit nicely if they could dig holes underground :D

For water mobs you could add starfish and whales :D

dr zhark you should make bugs such as butterflies that when lay on the ground sometimes drop red and yellow flowers, and bees which should spawn next to trees and if the player gets close they attack is packs, crickets which stay quiet in little dirt holes during the day and jump around making noises at night, grass hoppers who usually stay on top of tall grass and to flee from the player they jump to the nearest tall grass block, and termites that spawn anywhere and slowly eat away wood planks

maybe you could implement a mob that can only be found in the deep ocean but is extremely rare.

it could look like a titanic whale or some horrifying Eldritch abomination that's regularly docile but turns aggressive when you attack it and it fights using monstrous spiked tentacles or sonar waves.
