The only thing better on the turtle beach is the mic.Speaker wise sound quality .Trittons kick the shit outta turtle beaches i have the ax 720's New design mix amp and the x 41's the trittons are slightly better.Sound quality wise.!!

Man these suck hard..I'm a huge Gears fan and of course I got em..I also convinced my cousin to get em..They give us headaches, you cant have the volume as high as you want because you will hear a lot of hiss, the cord sucks and the ear cups suck..I had TB X11 and those were better now I'm going to store these for collection and buy TB X12

Sorry for not answering each of your questions, have been busy with college and work. The sound is good if you really like Bass. The TB are better for COD because they make footsteps and such much more apparent. I do find them to be very comfortable. I have no idea if they work for PS3 or PC. I would imagine they would but I dont have a good PC or a PS3. Sorry and thanks for watching.

OMG they finally changed their terrible design, my Ax Pro's left ear cup broke off when all I did was just went to put them on my head. So I went back to TB and its been a good year with no problems, but I will say that the sound quality of the AX Pro's is way WAY better than the X41, especially the bass.!. I am proably going to get the Warheads and give Tritton another try.

The mic is awesome no batteries required not too sensitive so not weird breathing or strange noises down the mic while playing, the sound itself is very Raw and not what most Astro's and Turtle Beach users are used to but its amazing you will never be caught from behind or the side again, love the fact the crimson omen glows its a nice feature and now just awaiting 7.1 support for 360, i love this headset its raw, comfortable and what any gears fan would expect, enjoy people.

I have had this headset for 2 months now its an awesome headset and it can be used on both PC and PS3. As it comes with a separate wire for use with PC the headset still glows as well powered by a port and the usual green and pink plugs for the sound and mic. I tested this on pc and works not tested on ps3 yet but sure it will work fine as its the same setup for the universal Tritton.

Hey, i would like to ask if the mic is too responsive? the turtle beaches x12 that i have, the mic is to responsive.. i would put it in front like 3 inches from my mouth and my friends say im too loud so i have to put it up in the air like an antenna.

Have you had anyone complaining? im looking forward to buy this badass piece of cake with icing.

@Skidmarkish Yes. Batteries are a major pain in the ass. I would Definitely advise getting a good wired headset. Unless you want to spend extra and get a shit ton of rechargables and then you could be fine.

Did yours come with a PC adapter cable? The instruction manual for this damn headset says it comes with a PC adapter cable in the box contents but I didn't get one. Doesn't matter anyway, i'll be returning this headset probably.

@koelebobes For an all rounder, I would go with the Tritton AX720 or AXPro, this thing is only *meant* for xbox, but the other 2 come with a PC adapter.

i bought this headset and set it all up the same way as you have yours set up but mine are not working. it lights up but i dont hear any sound from them and i have checked all my system settings and have them set for the headset its self. I have no clue whats going on with them. So im using my ax 720s still. As it is now im disappointed in the headset just for the face that mine is not working right now. Maby i have a bad headset but idk any help is much appreciated.

I have a question. Does sound also come out from the TV if you are using HDMI with this headset? I want the 1080p from HDMI but I only want sound coming from the optical to the decoder box to my headset. Don't tell me that sound comes out from both and you have to mute your TV lol.
