  • Can anyone tell me how to count bpm? It takes me one full second to say one-one thousand, talking fast is a talent.Damn.

  • @wealthyfunone ok look at a clock when the skinny second hand gets to the top start counting your pulse after the second hand gets to the top thats how fast your heart beats

  • sounds cool

  • wonder what would happen if you'd masturbatre while in I.C.U. :S

  • ooo atrial flutter

  • no way i can't believe it actually turned into techno!

  • i just want some techno now.

  • *Alsome*

  • Alomse Song Girl!

  • for some reason this song makes my breath rythm to change to match what i hear, haha.

  • @last2O12dude, Believe it or not, you may be on to something. The electric pules of 2 separate hart cells beat at different rates. However, when the 2 cells touch each other, they start to beat in unison. Why this happens, no one has figured it out yet.

    Life is amazing. :-)

  • And you know what? I did not die but it felt like I was a goner for sure.,,,,without a doubt in my mind. One nurse said we have seen 220 to 250 bpm and they didn't die either. Now that I don't buy for one second. I think she was trying to make me feel better. I mean I can understand if you're Lance Armstrong and you're riding a bike up a mountain but sitting doing nothing and you get a simple anxiety/panic attack and you are suppose to let this heart beat this fast? Maybe on day it will sink in.

  • My heart went that fast when I freaked out. I thought I was going to die....I really did. I went to the ER thinking I am about minutes if not seconds away from meeting our Creator and they said, " Oh it's no biggie this is called a Sinus Tachycardia and it's normal when you have a shot of adrenaline." I was blown away. I said, WHAT!!??? They said yes we see this all the time....In other words it's called a Panic Attack. Give it 20 to 60 mins and you'll see it will slow down and you won't die.

  • Alright thank you:)!

    Gwendolyn

  • whats that green thing flashing at 2.24?

    Is it a warning?

  • yeah, it said "ECG analysis disturbed". this was due to muscle activity / electrical disturbance of the heart's electrical signal.

  • singing heart

  • Comment removed

  • @owenxb song is by Kraftwerk

  • can a heart sing ?! lol

  • good song!

  • what is that green light that appears.. i saw it at 2:52

  • "ecg analysis disrupted" - this is because too much muscle activity causes strong artefacts.

  • Mine gets up to 180. Is that bad?

  • depends. when exercising, not really - rule of thumb says 220 minus age = normally the max. heart frequency. but if you have a RESTING heart rate of 180 bpm, that would be very bad.

  • umm, is he throwing PVCs in like the first 7 seconds with a sinus rhythm? also did anyone notice any PJCs around the 4min mark, the screen wasnt that clear to tell,,, nice show of how tachy one gets with exercise... thanks for sharing

  • Nice video. man 180 bpm that is impressive. I think the highest i've gone is maybe 160-170 and i could only keep that up for so long haha man i was haulin. Well im 22 so my max in theory would be 198 bpm. Normal resting is 55-65 bpm. Nice video.

  • What is this song called?

  • ELEKTRO-KARDIOGRAMM bei the german band KRAFTWERK.

  • Oh cool thank you the song is cool

  • "bei" ;-)

The song you attached without permission, should have been credited yet before being asked for.

Since giving credit would be requirement to claim a copyright violation being so-called FAIR-USE and therefore no matter of too substantial injunctive relief & compensation.

  • hmm, you're probably right about that; that info should go in the description. thanks!

  • I believe all this about copyright is full BS these bands already made money with these songs who ever use copyright music in You tube is doing no for money it is just creation is re visiting that music let the people create no one is making money and is good publicity for the bands

  • well, good publicity, yes - but only if people KNOW who the artists are, so that info should be provided.

  • Look I am 45 years old I bought Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen in the 70 in LP then bought them again in Cassettes then I bough it again in CD then DVD and via Itunes I got that album for friends and like me millions of other people how many times Queen want to make money from a single person from a single product. I should have the right to do what ever I want with that music with out asking permission because I paid several times

  • haha, cool about the LP!

i have kraftwerk's WHOLE DISCOGRAPHY in VINYL! and i'm damn proud on that. =)

    i even got a traffic cone, cuz i'm a fan. ^_^

  • between 60 and 90 beats,,,i nerver had over 100 :)

But i suffer of PRE-hyper blood pressure :)

    120-135/70-85 :)

  • my resting hear beat is " 66 bpm"

  • im young, my max heart rate is like 205 or something...

but uhhh... see a doctor... maybe?

  • Muyy buenoo...soo good man, congrats

  • wow a 180 heart rate, only sprinters achieve that is that healthy?

  • well, there's a rough formula that says "220 minus age", so my maximum heart frequency (the heart rate i may archive without putting too much strain on my heart) is 195.

  • oh cool, im going to try and reach high numbers in the gym. mine would be 190. thanks for clearing that up:)

  • well, to archive the best continous effects in getting fit, you should instead try to maintain a heart rate of 120 for as long as possible - that's much better than going up to 190 and having to stop the exercise within minutes again. as you get fitter, you will need to do harder exercise to archive the HF of 120, but that's the whole point.

  • lol man, it is ok to stay in your VO2 max for a very brief period of time, but do not stay in it too long, you could simply pass out. So yes, if you want to give it a try do so in a gym!

  • 180 bpm is the maximum efficient heart rate that heart can handle without problem. It gives heart ventricles the minimum amount of time needed to fill with blood. Anything above and heart is not as efficient (generally). And yes, its very achieveable, you regularly get to that heart rate when you do Interval Training, which is lately shown to be very favourible over slower exercises for cardiovascular development.

  • @DivaOnADiet 180 is a common high end exercising rate. i get up to 190.. .195 when i started training, now that i'm a little more fit it doesnt go that high, but max HR rule of thumb is 220 - age... so a 20 year old could get to 200 bpm no problem.

  • @DivaOnADiet sprinters get to 200bps. and yes, 180 bps it's normal, especially because he/she was having a EKG exercise test, which isn't easy :)

  • to be truthfull it first sounds like your suffering from tachycardia then you kinda get crazy with the breathing and everything. Still a good job tho!!

    DMJL

  • Thanks!

  • i guess then you were on a stationary bike for this ecg. since this your monitor are you looking for anything in particular in your ecg's as you do various activities

  • well, as i have some LVOT PVTs when my HF is smaller than 120, and i have some apex PVTs (very few, if any) if my HF is larger than 120, i sort of looked for them to occur, yes... but, as my heart is healthy (except for ectopic pacemakers (extrasystoles)), i didnt look for anything 'special' like ST suppressions, no.

grr, the larger than and smaller than symbols just prohibited this text from being posted so i had to retype it. youtube sucks at times.

  • What are LVOT PVTs? Do you mean PVCs as in (pre-Ventricular Contractions?) and where's the best place buy a used ECG machine?

  • correct for PVC, and LVOT simply means "left ventricular outflow tract". best place to buy a used ECG? i'd say ebay.

  • I tired Ebay but most of them say I according to the FDA I have to be an authorized purchaser to possess an ECG.

  • hmm, maybe try a different country, then; i got it on german ebay, and here, it only says you may not operate it without being a medical professional. you can purchase them to, err 'look what's inside and take out the screen' or whatever purpose though. maybe try USA, mexico or something; shipping overseas would be a bit expensive, i think.

dunno how it is with customs; i got a thermowriter ecg from belgium, and as that and germany are in the EU, nobody cared, either.

  • Just currious....How many leads do yo have on your Ekg?

  • just one (bipolar)...

  • You mean one lead and a ground (one on your leg)?

  • well, ground (can be on leg or chest or arm or... doesnt matter. standard is right leg for AVR/AVL/AVF and I,III,III extremity leads and lower right chest for wilson V leads), and a red + a yellow electrode for the single bipolar lead.

  • that is the nicest ecg tracing during excercise i've seen ... hardly no artifact?

  • thanks for the response, if you bike most places, try turning some commutes into a workout you can buy a wearable HR monitor and track your efforts. what caused you to get this treadmill ecg test ? and how long did it take your HR to go back to near normal after test.

  • it wasnt a treadmill test - it was just random exercise i did at home (this is my personal hellige smu intensive care monitor i bought used). it took about 10 minutes until my resting heart rate was about normal again, i'd say.

  • saw some alerts on the monitor towards 176bpm did test terminate due alerts/arrythmias, exhuastion, becuase its seems you could have went above 180bpm i dont think you plateaued and peaked out on the test but reached a pre-determined cutoff. whats your fitness level and resting HR (upon waking up) height weight

  • i stopped exercising because i had a feeling it was enough - i could've went further if i wanted to, it was just getting uncomfortable. fitness level is 'quite bad' (i go to most places by bike but apart from that dont get any exercise but sit in front of the pc all day) so my resting heart rate is about 80. my calculated, in theory possible maximum heart frequency is 202 bpm.

  • Is this what doctors do in their spare times. Lol

  • Wow this is wild. I had no idea you could mess with the EKG like that.

  • Was looking for a simple heartbeat, but then found your video. Great sound, love it!

  • nogle gange tvivler jeg på hvor længe jeg kan blive ved med det her...

  • huh? sorry, i dont speak danish...

  • hey good job you didnt flat line x

  • lol, befor the music came in I already was thinking of a beat. XD

  • In the gym when i get on the bike, i never go over 160 or so... but i once reached 196 when i was running and really pushing myself.. i felt like i was about to die..!!!

  • My resting heart rate is 140. With minimal exertion it goes well over 200. Feel awful!!!

  • did you check your pulse the right way..? 140 is what you get when you are a jogging. there might be a glitch somewhere, check your resting pulse once again...

  • you should really go see a doctor if this is correct, as this is certainly a severe case of tachycardia that could even be dangerous.

  • agreed. please do go see a doctor mnstube, that most likely could be SVT or regular sinus tachy, both are irregular and should be spoken about by a doctor

  • Dude... you should really go see a doc on that. I mean my pulse barely hits that in a work out.

  • dude read the name of this vid

    EXCERCISE ecg

  • mmm, we aren't talking about the video dude.

  • ummm yes sorry i only read your comment

  • its cool, it happens.

  • if you are telling the truth rselby06, go see a doctor lol

  • FLUTER AURICULAR

  • ive got 179 heart rate at the gym on the bike and i was about to pass out

  • wow:O this wideo is AVESOME ;->

  • Hey can u explain what a guy of 220 lbs should look out for as far as heart rate ranges when excersizing? I've heard I don't wanna get over more than like 2/ second...

  • 220 minus your age - that's your maximum heart frequency. you should reach 65-75% of that in ideal training conditions.

  • This is what the one they used in the hospital looked like. I can't remember the technician's name, though. I hear my heart on it.

  • LOVE IT! Who is this music done by?

  • artist is Kraftwerk, song name is Elektro-Kardiogramm. :-)

  • kk vieze kuthijger

  • Why heart beat going up?

  • due to exercise

  • Super !

    :o)

  • hey wouldn't that kill the guy?? and i'm sure in real life the heart rate machines don't make those wacked out noises . . . but still. this video is cool!!

  • lol, it's a MUSIC SONG playing, not the actual ECG sound. and no, a heart rate of up to 200 is normal when exercising close to your physical limits. try it - do 100 situps, and count your pulse...

  • by the way, look at my other ECG videos for the real sound an ECG makes.

  • It looks like you don't have PVCs during exercise which is a very good thing, as it could indicate the substrate can't conduct impulses at that speeed.

  • well, i do have occasional PVCs during exercise (HF >120 bpm), but *never* LVOT PVCs - LVOT are my "usual PVCs", and they are completely supressed when i exercise. but, i get some (very few) occasional PVCs originating from the apex of the heart - those again rarely occur when i am not exercising. weird.

  • excellent ... i would prefer this to my Polar wrist computer alarming (as it did a few days ago) when I exceed 180bpm during run :) I'll let them know they've got a new branding approach and when your a gazillioniare creative in biobranding at WPP or your own agency you can remember the beat which set it off :)

  • Amazing doing it with Kraftwerk , but sure it would be great with the original heart sound.

(pm about SVT and arrythmia, didt answered in forum, but i sended you a mail earlier through the other site (hbp) not sure you have it? if not check my profile there , mine is same adress than msn (dont post mails adress here on youtube , because of spamming softwares collecting mails adress)
