I'm doing this asI am typing this and there is nothing happening. I used the three 9v batteries connect to one another, distilled water and 99.999% pure silver and there is no "ionization" happening. No clouds forming, no silver ions that I can see. How do I know this is working? I seen on another video I guy was making this and he used one drop of saline solution but his wasn't producing this cloud deal that yours is. Will that help/hinder the process?
In this "demo" I used filtered tap water which ionizes quickly due to the impurities in the water.
Using Distilled water will take about an hour and it should be a nice golden color.
I've experimented, add a packed of Stevia all natural sweetener which contains NO Chlorides in which the CS can combine with to make silver chloride which isn't good for you.
Heating the water will also help accelerate the process. W/stevia and heating ~ 15 mins.

This man is insane. For starters, silver is supposed to be as clear as regular water. The only way you should be able to tell that it contains silver is by using what is called "The Tyndall Effect" we can use a single 9v battery for the time differential. He is using tap water...dangerous. So is distilled water. Lastly, it should be agitated to reorganize the magnetically charged silver particles. His are too aggregated rendering the silver useless.
btw I am using a Enagic Leveluk SD 501 water Ionizer. it doesn't seem to produce as much cloudiness as regular tap water, but still shows there is some kind of impurities in it.

Ive been using homemade colloidal silver for about 2 years whenever I start to catch a cold or flu. @Thom - first off, I would NOT use 925 silver as it has impurities in it and I don't know what they are. Even the 99.9% is (as I've come to understand) reclaimed from the photography industry and has contaminants in it. I did use 99.9% pure bezel silver for a while, but now since finding 99.99% will only use that.
You can get it at ccsilver dot com, I recommend the 12 gauge for the anode (silver comes off of) and you can use your 925 silver for the cathode.

The reason I would rather use the kangen water is because it is extremely alkaline. The distilled water I get I use ph drops on and it comes out 4.0, which is pretty acidic. Is there a flaky dark stuff that will come off of one of the wires? I just started trying this and out of 3 attempts, I keep getting one rod with that flaky stuff. I have tried hot water, cold water, distilled water, 4 batteries, a 30 volt 400ma power supply and so far, I don't trust what is happening enough to try it.
@HostileHST The first question that MUST be answered is: Is the silver you are using 99.99% pure? If it has sterling in it quit using it and get pure silver.
As for the "flaky" stuff, yes you could experience a "tarnishing" effect, I don't know about flaky. Most suggest that after you make CS, that you should wipe the wires down each time.

@stnick777 The flaky stuff is if I let it sit too long without wiping off the silver rods. The last batch I did finally turned yellow. I used very hot water, let it run for 30-35 minutes, wiped the rods off after every 10 minutes till finally it was obvious it was making the colloidal (turned yellow I assume).

@vseae15o First of all, its MOSTLY bad lighting, second, my nails around the "moon" have a slight darkness to them, but I've had that way before I started taking colloidal silver.
Third, if a slight bluish darkness around the moons of your nails is all that CS does, aren't we losing the perspective that the vast majority of people on chemo therapy DIE?

@WritingMotor I don't know about the "healer" thing. Yes, water can lose its energy, but I've not seen any difference in water that was "rejuvenated" or not, its NOT necessary for the Colloidal Silver to work.

I think he's using tap water because I've done CS in both distilled and tap water before and that's exactly how it came out. I used the tap water for plants though since I don't see any harm in that. Distilled water must be used to ingest though. That's definitely not distilled water though.
Make sure the water is true Distilled water and the container is ultra-clean and final rinsed a couple times with pure Distilled water. It takes a lot longer to make the colloidal silver with pure distilled water. You want only pure water and extremely small ionic silver in the final product. It should look clear also. Also check it with a PPM (part per million) meter, which are like $20 and extremely accurate. Still GREAT video. My lazy ass doesn't want to be critical, Good work.

I got .9999 pure silver wires ,use warm distilled water and bot a ppm meter and my silver still looks grey beyond 30ppm.I got some nano-siver from silver solution and it measured 5&7ppm but they tol me the tiny ionic nano particles are too small to be measured by my meter.I believe thats the truth and Nano is a new horizon.I wonder how much Nano particulate is in regular CS.

Distilled water is NON conductive. There needs to be some mineral content in the water for the silver to even start breaking off in the water.
Do you drink your tap water at home? as long as its safe water to drink, its safe to use for making your colloidal silver.
Some people use distilled water, but often have to add sodium to get the electrical current to conduct through the water. If the current wont conduct, no silver will end up in the water.

Hot water carries more current and will get higher PPM's quicker. I have a PPM meter especially for this and can get 10 PPM in 10 mins with hot water.

What it means is that most of the store bought stuff is a complete ripoff,however, home made brew being cheaper can simply be consumed more often. I have a freind with Hep C who drinks three 8oz glasses a day of the home made which he rates at about 10PPM..
The best option I think is to buy it rated at 500PPM from herbal healer academy, it costs about $50 US for an 8oz bottle. The health food stores sell a 4oz bottle of 2-3ppm for $20..
Watch the color carefully, since you don't have any way to rate the PPM's. Remember that a silvery gold is as advanced as you want to be, beyond that there is a danger of particle size increase..Golden is still ok but the nano sized particles are more plentiful toward the silver range of color..

It turns amber/ yellow because while you make it, more and more silver comes off into the water. These particles will eventually become so many that they will absorb blue light, and give off the yellow color. Yellow is by far the best solution to drink because you know what you're getting, and it's a great way to test the purity of the water: if at the end of the proccess you have a yellow colloidal silver solution, and the water isn't cloudy, but clear, you have successfully made it. Congrats.

The only way you should be able to tell that it contains silver is by using what is called "The Tyndall Effect" we can use a single 9v battery for the time differential. He is using tap water...dangerous. So is distilled water. Lastly, it should be agitated to reorganize the magnetically charged silver particles. His are too aggregated rendering the silver useless.

Ive been using homemade colloidal silver for about 2 years whenever I start to catch a cold or flu. As an asthmatic Im extremely susceptible to bronchitis/pneumonia, and I get one or the other (or both) every single year. @Thom - first off, I would NOT use 925 silver as it has impurities in it and I don't know what they are. Even the 99.9% is (as I've come to understand) reclaimed from the photography industry and has contaminants in it. I did use 99.9% pure bezel silver for a while, but now since finding 99.99% will only use that.
You can get it at ccsilver dot com, I recommend the 12 gauge for the anode (silver comes off of) and you can use your 925 silver for the cathode.

Is there a flaky dark stuff that will come off of one of the wires? I just started trying this and out of 3 attempts, I keep getting one rod with that flaky stuff. @HostileHST The first question that MUST be answered is: Is the silver you are using 99.99% pure? If it has sterling in it quit using it and get pure silver.
As for the "flaky" stuff, yes you could experience a "tarnishing" effect, I don't know about flaky. Most suggest that after you make CS, that you should wipe the wires down each time.
With the Distilled water, did it turn a soft gold color?

I used very hot water, let it run for 30-35 minutes, wiped the rods off after every 10 minutes till finally it was obvious it was making the colloidal (turned yellow I assume).

@22y32g9 I'm on well water and have no chlorine in it, I also use a water filter that takes the chlorine out of both my drinking water and shower even if I was on city water.
I'm still NOT turning blue and have been using CS on and off for over 13 years, quit scaring people, its simply not that dangerous to use filtered tap water, I simply wouldn't recommend it on a consistent basis, best to use distilled water, add a tablespoon of Hydrogen Peroxide to add conductivity to it.

I've been making, using and studying Ionic Silver (generically most often and incorrectly referred to as Colloidal Silver) for over 10 years.
What is he making? I have no idea, you might want to ask Paul Karason, that is basically how he made it, except he also added salt. Whatever it is, it is NOT Colloidal or Ionic Silver and there is no way you would get me to drink it.
Ionic Silver solution should be from clear to a very light yellow.

I think he's using tap water because I've done CS in both distilled and tap water before and that's exactly how it came out. I used the tap water for plants though since I don't see any harm in that. Distilled water must be used to ingest though. That's definitely not distilled water though.

Make sure the water is true Distilled water and the container is ultra-clean and final rinsed a couple times with pure Distilled water. It takes a lot longer to make the colloidal silver with pure distilled water. You want only pure water and extremely small ionic silver in the final product. It should look clear also. Also check it with a PPM (part per million) meter, which are like $20 and extremely accurate. Still GREAT video. My lazy ass doesn't want to be critical, Good work.

you need steam distilled drinking water to make colloidal silver, and it is crystal clear when finished. This is cloudy and so silver protein or nitrate and will make people turn blue !

Distilled water is NON conductive. There needs to be some mineral content in the water for the silver to even start breaking off in the water.
Do you drink your tap water at home? as long as its safe water to drink, its safe to use for making your colloidal silver.
Some people use distilled water, but often have to add sodium to get the electrical current to conduct through the water. If the current wont conduct, no silver will end up in the water.

well it does conduct in distilled water,
although it initially starts of very slow but eventually it picks up after several hours.
i made it with distilled water and left it on for about 24 - 48 hours until it eventually turned the color of urine.

What do I need to add into the distilled water to make it conductive? I followed the instructions here but NOTING comes out of the rods like this video shows. Changed batteries and alligator clips (just in case) but it's the same story. I would appreciate any good feedback and guiding.

First off, I "demo'd" this with filtered tap water and you should probably use distilled water.
The only real way to tell is to use a Total Dissolved Solids meter, read it before and then after so you know for sure.
Room temperature, nothing added, distilled water will probably take about an hour from all the reports I've heard to get between 5 and 15 ppm.
I've also heard adding a tablespoon of Hydrogen Peroxide will accelerate the process.
DON'T use any kind of salts!

i also take h2o2 but i usually make the colloidal silver FIRST and THEN i add 10 drops of h2o2 to my glass before drinking it.

because i have heard that if you add about 10 drops of h2o2 (35% food grade) to a glass of colloidal silver then it increases the absoprtion of colloidal silver in your body.
But i never knew it will ACCELERATE the process of making Colloidal Silver.

Hot water carries more current and will get higher PPM's quicker. I have a PPM meter especially for this and can get 10 PPM in 10 mins with hot water.
The studies that showed effectivity of silver were at 250PPM so yool need a lot of the 10PPM. There is no resistance to silver as with antibiotics..The first known antibiotic was colloidal silver. however todays antibiotics were cheaper to produce(not more effective).

Silver is acting mechanically on the microbe it is disrupting the enzymatic coating on the pathogen which it needs to breath. There is no immunity to that..

What it means is that most of the store bought stuff is a complete ripoff,however, home made brew being cheaper can simply be consumed more often. I have a freind with Hep C who drinks three 8oz glasses a day of the home made which he rates at about 10PPM..
The best option I think is to buy it rated at 500PPM from herbal healer academy, it costs about $50 US for an 8oz bottle. The health food stores sell a 4oz bottle of 2-3ppm for $20..
The 500ppm will break a cold inside a day.

ok so if you do it with HOT water it only takes 10 minutes to make 10 PPM,
and if you use COLD water it takes a few HOURS to make 10 PPM.
cool.
i think i will need to start making it with Hot water from now on.

Watch the color carefully, since you don't have any way to rate the PPM's. Remember that a silvery gold is as advanced as you want to be, beyond that there is a danger of particle size increase..Golden is still ok but the nano sized particles are more plentiful toward the silver range of color..
In use a commercial unit so it may give different results through the temperature range..Rely on your eyes.

i heard that it is TAP water that makes it go grayish cloudy color but if it is made properly with DISTILLED water then it SHOULD turn yellowish goldish color.

No matter what you hear, there is No Proof that ionic/colloidal Silver will even cause argyria, let alone any other negative condition. Even the FDA admits they don't have Any reported Cases of negative effects from the use of ionic/ colloidal silver, made by eletrolysis distilled water and .999 or .9999 pure silver and I challenge anyone to prove otherwise!

The algyria condition was associated with non ionic colloids. Todays ionic silver colloids are harmless and incredibly effective.
Herbalhealer academy has inexpensive 500ppm silver. It will knock a cold flat/ break it inside a day.
The Space shuttle the ISS and companies like Lufthansa used silver anode water purification systems. There is a darn good reason why the early aristocracy favored silver eating utensils.

at 10:24-25, you hand/arm look a little blue to me... the blue papa smurf lookin guy that drank too much, said he and his entire family didnt even realize he was turning blue because it was so gradual... only noticed it when someone they hadnt seen in a while noticed the difference. Not that this stuff is bad...just not something you just wanna jump from 5-10 parts per million to 50 cause it feels right...

Very confusing.
First I think most bottles in the store are about 40 parts per million, but you only take a couple of spoonfuls a day.
Some store bottles say never to refrigerate it because that will destroy the ions.
Others say to refrigerate it. Never knew which was right.
So this produces around 50 parts per million, give or take a few million?
So how much is safe to take daily - the entire bottle, or only a couple of spoons like stores recommend? Wouldn't want a permanent navy face.

I've never used a Total Dissolved Solids meter to know exactly what the parts per million is. I'm going by a chart i got some 12 years ago.
I've been told I'm actually only making about 2-4 ppm, I simply don't know.
I've also heard NOT to refrigerate it, store in a dark glass bottle, store in a dark place.
I do what I originally learned and it works for me, if 1-2 teaspoons of 40 ppm works for you, do that.

I see that they now have arch supports and things made out of silver too, but some natural health people fear that if many of us start using this, bacteria will learn to defeat that too & then we will have "nothing" for really serious diseases.

That would be a great observation. I don't take it every day, just if everyone around me comes down with something or if it catches me off guard I'll start drinking a couple glasses a day.
I've gotten over the flu in less than 24 hours when everyone around me got very sick for about 2 weeks. I got over the California flu in 2005 in just 7 days when my step dad and my roommate had it for 8 weeks.
Say what they may, but I'll certainly continue to use it.

COLLOIDAL SILVER should NEVER be Cloudy.
NEVER use TAP WATER or filtered water.
DISTILLED WATER ONLY. if you heat the distilled water in the microwave just to the point till it starts to boil. then hook it up to the batterys.
the water will turn amber in color. keep heating until it turns. amber. then you will have about 15 to 25 PPM. shine a red laser into the bottle then you can see the particals.
keep your colloidal stored in a glass container it will stay fresh up to 3 years.

You can by 5 litre bottles of distilled water in probably any pharmacy. They keep it behind the counter in the small pharmacies because they don't have enough space on the shelves to put it on display. I think it goes without saying that colloidal silver will stay fresh since its an antibiotic haha.
Why does the water turn amber when you do that? Thanks for sharing that I was just wondering how to measure PPM without a detector. I wonder if viewing it with a laser can give you a rough idea too

It turns amber/ yellow because while you make it, more and more silver comes off into the water. These particles will eventually become so many that they will absorb blue light, and give off the yellow color. Yellow is by far the best solution to drink because you know what you're getting, and it's a great way to test the purity of the water: if at the end of the proccess you have a yellow colloidal silver solution, and the water isn't cloudy, but clear, you have successfully made it. Congrats.
