I remeber when i first heard this album it was around January 2010 everyday before school i would wake up and put this on i would leave outside and by that time the instrumental part started i remeber the sky was very gray at that time the trees had no leaves and this song just fit the mood so perfectly and i realized how fucked up this world is.
I really respect Stza and this band, dont share things like the hard drugs he used to, some things he said i really share with, like the squatting issue, absolutely love his music, Even when I dont like kinda Death metal growls, he doesnt do that much, but the combination of ska, punk, classical and metal is very nice
yeah, apart from the MOVEs beliefs, and whether you agree or not, any sane person would agree that the way they were "treated" was fucking shit. there was no "ok" reason for what happened that day. like he says here "11 people burned alive....sentenced to be incineraed" god, that is AWFUL....just horrible. imagine that shit happening to you. i heard MOVE were doing some kind of over the top things, but theres no justification for what was done
I love the shit outta this piano. and im really glad they made this song about operationMOVE because thats some fucked up shit and i really respect that they, ya know do what they do and acknowledge the bad things and dont pretend everything is fucking sunshine out the ass all day everyday unlike history teachers y'know. Thanks LOC
I've known those who have gone to c-squat and seen the disappointment,I've heard the stories but this song still gives me clarity. It's simply amazing it gives me a feeling of closure like there will be a brighter tomorrow. One day at a time nuff siad
@thatgraffkid92 a brighter tomorrow? this song is about MOVE a radical black liberation freedon group from philly. im all for equality and anti-racism but the fact is MOVE was absolutley insane. MAyor Nutter was a complete moron to have the percussion bomb dropped on the house but MOVE were morons too putting fucking gasoline on their roof. Ramona Africa says it was bc MOVE was to strong vocally so the gvt. felt they needed to be destroyed, if that is true y did they need an illegal armory?
@njlacrosse9 yet the ones that made this song made a master piece.van goh allen poe all of the great artist ,graphic, painting, poetic or music wise all of the briliant artist that this world has ever seen where all fucked up in the head and where able to turn a tragedy into something like this song.Stz even said he was traumatized by the bombing but instead of letting the pain eat away at him he made this song and used his so called pain as inspiration.most ppl lose touch of this

I'm only recently beginning to figure out just how good this band is. It's weird, they've come to mean a lot to me in such a short space of time.
