@uncypaolo no reason to think they wouldn't have it... since reptiles and mammals are each evolved from the same fish. However, I wouldn't call it a problem. Have you ever had trouble with your 3 foot laringial nerve? It's the only way you know, and you're used to it. Just like how your legs don't get tired from carrying your weight... because they are used to it.

@Craigipedia Oh yes, I said it because I wondered how long the laringial nerve would have been then in Brontosauri and other long-neck dinos... I know it's not a "problem" but it CAN become a problem just like many of our vestigial organs (say the apendix).
