This was the first Phantasm film I saw and I was totally confused. I'm glad I decided to rent the first two to find out just what the hell was going on. But I'm still waiting to see 3.

I seen the first 3 Phantasm movies on CHILLER channel last week and they are all good to me! I havent seen the fourth one though! When I was a kid I only remebered a few things about Phantasm= 1. Those midgets with the hoods on their heads coming out of the cabinets and attacking Reggie (the bald guy in all the movies).That was from the second one 2. The little boy getting grabbed by something evil on the third one! BOYYYYYYYYY!

At the end of 3 he was cornered by a bunch of those balls, the boy that tagged along with him was dragged through the window, and the tall man came back, and this is how they start of 4 ? Way to NOT explain things. Besides, they showed a flash back with hin, mike, and mikes brother, well mikes brother died when mike was a kid, yet the flashback shows all of them at their present age ? WTF ?

The kid's (Tim) fate from III was cut from the script. In the beginning of 4 he was supposed to be shown having been eaten by the dwarves.

I think it's got something to do with the fact that he's a figment of his own imagination. like a shadow of his Former self. It's not really his physical form.
