  • Actually, I take that back, this is also a great version!

  • I prefer the album version to be honest. It's more epic. I was disappointed on my last watch of the film that this version was present. Nevertheless it's probably the greatest love scene to ever grace cinema.

  • 1 guy have obviously encountered some error between a screen and a chair...

Rhapsodie in uns verbunden. In Musik das Glück gefunden. Gabriela©
  • Can you also isolate and post the orchestral piece that replaces the Clannad song in the director's cut? That's the only thing in the director's cut that's better than the theatrical release.

  • nice but who performs it on the movie? sounds like a world class Symphony. the tympani on the fourth up beat is what makes it along with the solo violin that is increased in volume.

  • A masterpiece.

  • Bravo! I thought I was the only one who noticed the minor distinction between the two versions. It happens at around 2:25 and it makes this version superior imo.

  • It pulls at the heart ...

  • perhaps the best music ever made..for me IT IS THE BEST...

  • I Like this music more......

  • i know this is gonna sound weird, but you can feel the impact of the kiss and the love. Makes me heart pound like it did when they looked at each other and finally kissed. just wow.

  • Thanks for the links.

I was after the end credits music that wasn't on the CD, nor could I find on the web.

  • Madeline Stowe she's so pretty and feminine

  • Thank you for the links! :) Filming an original play and using "The Kiss" song to portray a young girl's memory of her first kiss. Hope to upload to Youtube soon. T

  • this scene was when i got a boner. then proceeded to tell me 5th grade class the next day, that didnt turn out well

  • one person is an idiot

  • Makes my heart beat right out of my chest!!!

  • Wow, this is so beautiful I'm almost in tears.

  • this song can make taking a shit epic

  • love this shyt so peaceful

  • Thank you very much

I love the movie and soundtrack

  • "What are you looking at sir"? "I'm looking at you miss"! That's got to be the best romantic lines in a movie!

  • 0 dislikes the way it should be, awesome song, awesome film! ............ nuff said!

  • The love story of Cora and Hawkeye is one of the greatest in cinematic history, and this song is part of what made their love so great.

  • Finally i ve found all the 4 versions! Anyone wants them, feel free to pm :)

  • @ios4ever 4 versions?I only know it from the soundtrack CD "The Kiss" and this one.

  • Where can I get a copy of this particular version ? It far exceeds any other.

  • @scragster105 You can download the song from my 4shared account, it's on video description (info). But if you mean an original copy I just have no idea buddy. I think they didn't release a real "Film Version" of this amazing soundtrack. Too bad they didn't =(

  • @TheVulpineTigerness Ok, thanks for the info, i'm going to follow it up. Cheers.

  • @scragster105 just download it from onlinevideoconverter

  • thx from finland

  • Gorgeous score. This is one of the three all-time most romantic moments in film history. The other two are when the older couple finally touch across a table in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," and the "Take me away!" (smile) scene under the table in "La Vita E Bella."

  • This "kiss" scene, where they are up on the ramparts, is one os the sexiest, most sensual scenes in any movie! It's not necessary to be graphic to be downright HOT!!

  • @jannierocks I absolutely agree with you!

  • @jannierocks werd

  • I miss the words... ^^ ...

  • Whoa, now this is the best version I've ever heard! It's been a long time since I saw the movie, so I didn't remember this being the real one. I prefer it over all other ones. Thanks for uploading it!

  • THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE GENTLE COMMENTS! I'm glad to share such a beautiful masterpiece with other soundtrack lovers ^^

  • @TheVulpineTigerness I just love the history in the film as well as the music.

  • Being a big lover of the film and it's soundtrack, I find this version more emotive and moving than the others, including Hans Zimmer.

Thank you for sharing this with us.

  • I bought the Soundtrack as soon as it became available. I was disappointed they didn't put this version in it. In fact I was really mad. I still can't figure out why they cut it.

Thank-you very much for going to the trouble of posting for us. While the soundtrack version is nice, this version is hauntingly beautiful!

  • @DanDeDonDon i know. I think most ppl prefer this version--the violin solo in the second half of it is amazing.

  • SO BEAUTIFUL !

  • Thank you for uploading this!

  • GLORIOUS....

  • that violin solo at the end is just too beautiful for words.

  • Do you have other tracks from the film?

  • This is fucking amazing I love it!

  • an absolute masterpiece... top five pieces of score... ever... so powerful, so dramatic, so epic, so emotional

  • wow thanks, I didn't realize that this was in fact the real version... I like it better too!

  • @IcyScythe Yes, the original is always better! It was a little difficult to rip off the songs from the dvd, so I'm really glad you like it! =]

  • @TheVulpineTigerness is the end theme song (you know when they're running up the mountain chasing the girls being carried off by the bad indian who's name I forget) different as well?

  • @IcyScythe Yes, it's different! It's a longer version. On the soundtrack this song's name is "Promentory" ;-)

  • @IcyScythe Magua...played by Wes Studi

  • @IcyScythe the indians name was Magua. probably not the correct spelling for his name. he was a Huron indian.

  • Awesomeness!! Ty very much for the links!

  • @ios4ever You're welcome =) glad you like it!
