That's really a nice house. I'm used to make similar habitation in my own neighbourhood (I still play with The Sims 1. It's an immortal game <3). However, why didn't you cut the "stopped" part with an editing program? You'd avoid something like a two entire minutes blank record XD

The Sims 3 does have extremely complicated animation techniques and calcs, but it is not in one small way cartoony. I may be mistaken you were calling The Sims 1 cartoony, which would have been true.
