You know.. i had just got this kit and this was months ago. I was running fixed rpm. As I flew it more, I began to see more headspeed inconsistencies... I just changed to set rpm, and it did not like that. So, the next stop is a revco m1 15t and the kde 115, taking headspeed up to 2500 at 94% to avoid that nasty 2450 rumor. Stay tuned!
I am impressed you were that quick on the throttle hold. IMHO that saved some considerable damage and also a video of the "funky" chicken as it flopped around. Overall, great flying skills.
Oke thats great!! I like mine to but im an amateur and do only sport flying because i simply can't do 3d yet. There is a big thing on the tail blowouts and 2400+ needed headspeeds for tail trust .Now i hope in sports i don;t have to worry about that.
@snotlobber I was thinking lucky, but it was also good piloting that saved it that much, good on ya though. I am going to pick this EFL Pro up next week.

Glad you didn't have much damage. The tail didn't look very solid, what kind of head speed were you running here?

seemed like the pilot is pretty good, better than me, or more agressive at least. everytime i fly im worried about crashing.
