Great question, We only recommend getting your hair done by a professional to prevent breakage and to avoid getting any on your skin from spilling etc.

Scruples has an oil based bleach. It is the safest product we've found.

That's so cute...thanks so much for the tutorial! It would be a good way to recycle shoelaces from old kids' shoes once they grow out of them. And if you have different colors of shoelaces, or shoelaces with designs/characters on them, they'd work well for a headband for a little girl.

last week I did a video on making my own clip-incolor hair extensions. I did it for less than $15 versus the 30 or 40 dollars they were charging on Ebay.

Good question, This headband was actually a really old one of mine and it had a bow attached, I just removed the bow and used the band. But Im sure you can get plain headbands at places like claire's or Justice possible Target or Walmart :)

but one question: if you dont have a hot glue gun, can you use superglue? like the ones in the tube with a thin end where you squeeze out ?

@ShAzZrUlZ It would probably work, but we are really into SAFE products, so we wouldn't recommend superglue, just because it's so toxic to work with, even the smell alone is toxic. Another craft glue would be a better option, but you can actually get little cool melt glue guns so cheap now, it's probably no more than the cost of super glue.

Oh the raw edge instead of using glue to hold it together, you could use scotch tap and just roll it around it a few times, so it looks more like the other side. Nice Video.
