@Funkydunkywoofyxxx These cookies need to be baked at 350 degrees (F) for about 10 minutes. Check them occasionally to make sure they don't get over-done.

Betty, I have been looking for a recipe for a cookie recipe that my older sister and cousin used to make back in the 60's,, refrigerator cookies, and they rolled the dough out in a log form and after it chilled, cut off the cookies to bake, do you know of what I am talking about? They were not sugar cookies.

@bettyskitchen Hi Betty, thanks for getting back with me, this is a old rescipe, and they used to make them all the time, I called my cousin and she said she tore her house apart trying to find this rescipe, they were so good, ( childhood memories ), and I have Gooled it and everything, like I emntioned in my earlier message, after the batter was mixed together, they would form the batter into a log like form and place in the fridge, then after it hard, they would slice and bake, yummy !

Thanks! My recipe for keeping young is to eat the right foods in small portions and to work out 4 times a week at the gym. I've done this all my adult life, and my weight has not varied more than 3 or 4 pounds in all that time.

This is not just a diet channel (as you can see!). I do try to watch the fats and sugars in most recipes, and I make a lot of fat/sugar-free substitutions, as long as it does not affect the outcome of the food. And on holidays, I give the kids ( and big kids) a break! Thanks for your view!

Kind of a silly tip, but if you want to keep your chocolate cookies brown, you can dust the counter with cocoa instead of flour. Of course, this is a bit more costly, but especially for fancier cookies, it's a good tip.
