  • I LOVE Take Me to the Water!!! It's the most awesome song I sang at 2010 CME!! You guys are great. (No offense, but CME was better). We did improvisation, and it was so fun!!! And I'm conducted by Janet in ICC Chorale! Hope you had fun singing this song :).

  • My middle school will be singing this song!

  • This is the funnest piece of music I've ever performed..No joke. It's so hard to fight back a smile when you're singing it! Ah.

  • I swear, the Texas All-State chior would kill this song...they actually have soul when they sing (im not bashing your performance, im just simply stateting something)

  • Great act, but I wish they had some stage mics.

  • Janet Galvan! She was my director at Ithaca College

  • Doing this at Temple. Dilworth is a boss.

  • @ludwigvan17 ME TOO. haha who are you?

  • i'm doing this in my choir at temple university.

with rollo dilworth as my conductor.

  • First Youtube video I've ever been in with more than 10,000 views. yay!

  • @Moritz015 My University's choir just worked with him last semester. He is truly an awesome guy, super talented.

  • Great sound and spirit from this choir! Love all the note bends. But I also thought the drums got in way.

  • This is a good choir, but without the drums this would have been better. Everything didn't seem to be synchronized.

  • Great Choir and good music

  • Rollo Dilworth worked with my choir when I sung this for county chorus. He is so awsome. Anyone work with him?

  • @Moritz015

He was there with the Maine All State Choir earlier this year. Truly a great experience working with him!

  • @Moritz015 Actually He's my conductor at Temple University. This song kicks ass

  • @TheExperience09 LUCKY!!!!! And yes it does

  • @Moritz015 My 8th grade chorus worked with him! I LOVE HIM.. he's simply amazing.

  • @Moritz015 He directed New Mexico's all state mixed chorus. Probably the coolest man I've ever met.

  • @akgoness I was there too! Look at my channel for the video of our (mixed choir) "Spontaneous Talent Show" :D

  • @KolyaVenturi97 YES! Awesome! Thanks so much for posting that! ahaha good times :)

  • @Moritz015 He directed my All State Choir in the beginning of this month. He is such an inspirational man. I loved getting to work with him! :)

  • Excellent!!

  • I am singing this in my choir and it is super fun lol

I love the "Gonna lay down my burdens down by..."

    "DOWN BY THE RIVERSIDE!"

  • LOVE ITT

  • The altos are very strong. This is wonderful, even though the tempo is a little bit slow for my personal liking. Otherwise absolutely wonderful.

  • @PearsRpretty Think about it, it's a spiritual that's supposed to be sung by an African American choir. I don't think their tempo would be that peppy and fast.

  • @Wuhhhht

When we sang this piece at the Gardner Webb choral clinic with Dr. Dilworth directing it, the tempo was faster. I'm not saying that this choir isn't absolutely amazing, I mean, heck, they're an AllState choir! It's wonderful! I'm just saying that it was a little slow for my (keyword MY) personal opinion. (Not to mention that my previous comment was from TWO MONTHS ago. Anything older than a week is not worth arguing over.)

  • Ya'll Better Sang!!!! Complimenti Dr. Galvan!! When you bring the Choir to Italy...let me know!!

    Auguri!!

  • This is a wonderful version of this arrangement. x3
