what in the world beaters are you using? Props on toms! I wear them too.

@imdarrellkthx haha they are made by DW. They are hard plastic beaters with a foam core that is adjustable to taste. You can get that big attack by using only the plastic beater, or you can just use the foam core and it acts like a normal felt beater. You can also have the best of both worlds which is how I have mine, with the felt out a little more to give me more feel into the drumhead.
