  • Wow!..the audience reaction is outstanding! Great crowd..I think Larry was holding back some tears.

  • This song still touches a part of my soul like no other....

  • I can"t believe they" re still do"in it!!

  • My all time favorite OMD song!

  • The Orion spacecraft will replace the shuttle series. It is quite likely that the Spaceship Orion will take the first Humans to colonize off world. This song may likely be prophetic....this program began in 2004 by George W. Bush, with a tentative manned mission to Mars scheduld for 2031.

  • The OMD boys provide us some of the best feel good/beer drinking music of all time. So talented, individually and collectively, yet so underappreciated - - - ‘tis a damn shame too

  • Hey..OMD's!! Please come to Dallas area or Choctaw in Durant. We will be there!!!! Got to see you guys......Or we will try to get to Springfield and visit! Hope all is well with you and yours from me and mine!!!!

  • This is so awesome after all these years! Larry Lee is one of the most insightful writers of songs as well as a team player throughout the years! Caught him with Jimmy Buffett years ago! I hope he is well and would love to meet him and hear him, as I never was able to catch the OZM, but hope it's not too late. I think he had a nice momma, too! Wife has a niece moving to Springfield and hope to do some serious visiting and listening!..Thanks Larry and OMD's!!!!!

  • almost makes me cry

  • @iceaxe56

Yes it is...Larry Lee Still has a GREAT voice!!!

  • My highschool days in Houston....

  • @Kbear56

Same for me,... High School days in Cabool. Another of my favorites is "Watermill", just something special about the lyrics with the two songs from the many that I'll always like. Thanks so much for the great songs & memories OMD you guys truly have a unique sound!!!

  • A song from the soul never grows old.

  • Wildwood Springs Lodge -- the perfect venue for up-close and personal country rock!

  • Larry Lee n Randle Chowning!!the other guys are boss as well...love the Ozarks ,music

  • always one of my favorites songs not just by this group but of all time. Still sounds great

  • Got a lump in my throat on that one.

  • Larry Lee is the BEST

  • Some magic moments here. Just don't stop playing, there's a lotta music left in you yet.

  • never thot id see this live recent or ever at all thanks utube

  • This song brings back some really good memories,we thought we'd be young forever, yes, every generation feels that way.

  • My very favorite song my OMD. Larry is great. We were at the Wildwood that night. Best place and concert ever. Took me back to younger years and float trips in southcentral Missouri. Thanks

  • is this country music? how would you classify it? sounds like r and b.

  • @adeart7

These guys were just different. They had roots in a lot of places--good music defies categories.

Good cruisin' at night in the summertime music. Especially once you know the lyrics

  • Where? Current River or Jack's Fork? I live in Utah, now. I miss Southern Missouri so much.

  • It is so great to be able to hear these songs again. I use to listen to them with my dad when I was younger. Now my three year old is sitting hear listening with me. I have not been able to listen in years due to the lack of a record player.Thanx so much my dad passed away almost eight years ago and this was great.I sang Beauty In The River at his Funeral any one know were I can hear that?

  • Ah! Your story is so similar to mine! My dad got me heavy into OMD when I was a tyke and he died in 2002. Afterwards, I thought "Beauty in the River" would have been great to have at his memorial, but it was too late :(

  • UTUBE is great. This song was so special to me when I was 17 in 1997. And I have aged also. WOW.

  • takes me way back and I still love this song after all these years. Interesting to note that my teenage sons and their friends love the music from the old man's generation songs like this. That's pretty cool!

  • memories of slim my Oke friend when we worked the rigs together out of Singapore,he loved their sound, fun times Slim. Kiwi.

  • Wow, when I was 14, this song rocked for me. I loved the words, the chords, everything. Thanks, OMDs! I'm now 47 and this song still does it for me.

  • Like you, I was about 14 when I first heard this, not long after the 'Quilt' album came out. Was in Malaysia. In a way, and in my mind not so far from the Ozarks. Now live thousands of miles away. Was thinking about our planet and this song came to mind. We don't have a spaceship to take us to a 'world exactly different'... No, 'It can't be like home'

  • @Harleygirl1212

yep, I turn 52 tomorrow.. Love all the heart felt songs from then..

  • Tremendous song by the tremendous OMD.

YOU KNOW LIKE I KNOW IS, to, probably one of the TOP 10 ballads of the 70's. No doubt about it.

  • Does anyone know when these guys are playing again?, im thinking of visiting the states, it would be great to see them live.

  • What a treat to hear this song again. Mr. Powell is another song that Larry sings that is terrific.

  • GREAT song, thank god larry is alive and well what the hell!!!!????

  • One of the great songs by one of the great bands of our time.

    Thanks, OMD

  • Larry Lee was buried at 11 a.m. on November 6 in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. He left wife Carrie Lee, daughter April D. Lee and three sons - Lawrence H. Lee III, Robert A. Lee, and Thomas Lee. He was also survived by his mother, Lula Lee, and five grandchildren.

  • That was a different Larry Lee. The above Larry Lee is alive and well.

  • thanks, feel a total fool, found out from their web site, spent the day feeling sad for the band and then found out he was still alive, glad he didnt read but thanks for correcting and sorry for above

  • Hey Richardd 2063, Have you ordered there DVD Live at the Gillioz from there website. It is awesome. Larry sings a bunch of old songs and some of his new songs. The whole concert is amazing you will not be dissapointed.

  • No i didnt see that yet, bit strapped for cash at mo but have asked my good lady to keep an eye out for it, thanks, this will be a real coming back from the dead concert for me (sorry again)

  • Cool song from the 70s, brings back a lot of memories about driving back home to the Ozarks.
