  • Nice Version From This Beautiful Song

  • @scaniaV8power VERAMENTE BELLA VERSIONE !!! COMPLIMENTI SIMPATICA

  • great cover version of mr walkie talkies 1977 hit

  • Wow, this keyboard is amazing. Who would think that something like this can come out from an Italian company. My first keyboard was a little Bontempi. Yeah, it was a toy organ. Nonenetheless, it looks like Elka is very professional. Well, no wonder they also made the Synthex. I wonder if Elka still makes keyboards today.

  • The reason that the Synthex wasn't very succesfull in the beginning was actually that most synth-players figured that an Italian organ maker couldn't design a proper synthesizer! But then came the laser harp sound and the rest is history. Elka was actually one of the few Italian organ makers to survive the digital revolution - most others went down in the early 80's.

Elka still exists. But the are part of the GEM family and they primarily makes amps and small speakers now.

  • I know, I used to be one of those superfilcial people who were dissing organ in favor or synthesizers, which were "cool", whereas the organs were not. When I was a kid, my mom was driving me mad calling my synthesizer an organ. Now, after 20 years or so, I like organ very much. I was tinkering of the Hammond XK3 System in wooden cabinet, the B3 style. But the 8K price tag didn't make it happen for me yet. Anyway man, you present great musicianship, and you got so many serious organs!

  • Fabolous! I remember this great melody from my childhood also :-)

  • @mysteritmo Me too! This was one of my favorite!

  • genius!!

  • WOW! I am impressed! I know long time ago that X-1000 is very professional, but this organ & drum sound is absolutely stunning. Well done!

  • Very nice....

Even if Elka factory was a couple of miles from my home, I never saw an Elka X-1000 around here... I had the chance to play only older Elka models....

  • I don't know how many that was made. They seem to have been quite popular in Denmark judging from how often they turn up on the second hand pages. Maybe it's because the X-1000 was an economic alternative to the similar - but three times as expensive - Wersi Spectra that hit the market at about the same time.

  • awesome pedal playing

  • Fandme iorden...

  • Kraftedeme tak!!!
