@lakevubud Gee, you have an opinion on each one as though it is something uniquely Canadian about them. I can think of hundreds of American stars who easily fall into these same descriptions. Canada is a very small country when it comes to population, esp. in comparison to 300+ in America. I would say that's a pretty good ratio of talented people to our population and therefore, pound for pound, Canadian talent is equal, if not superior, to some of the sludge coming out of the US.

Patsy Gallant came to Canada's capital (Ottawa) about 30 years ago, and I was 14 when I ran into her downtown. I was a kid, and she wouldn't stop to say hello or anything. I kept running behind her trying to say hi (I was a kid) and finally caught up and said "are you Patsy Gallant"? She said "YES" and walked away -- it was crushing at the time. Wasn't very nice. She could have been kinder and certainly more grateful for her fame; I never forgot how she snubbed a young girl.
