  • Unreal!!!!

  • @5191keith super stock is like stock just faster, all three include large amounts of money to own. but pro stock by rumors, might get replaced with pro mod

  • Ale urwał

  • @5191keith Super Stock still exists as a separate class (and always has)

  • check out mike harmons bristol crash . Similar destruction and luck.

  • Oh my gosh, that was terrible!! I hope that guy was o.k. I would've felt horible crashing into that car, but what can you do going that fast? Very unfortunate! My heart goes out to the guy!

  • @refusetoassimilate

Bruce Allen was ok, doesn't remember the crash, counted his blessings and hasn't raced since.

  • @GMHGTO Thanks so much for the info. After watching that car break apart like that it's hard to believe Bruce was o.k. Very fortunate for him though and a testament to how those cars are built. It's good to know he's o.k. - THANKS AGAIN!

  • Its hard to believe The way that car broke a part that anyone could live through that unbelievable.

  • i was there when that happened. pretty scary stuff.

  • Just a matter of time when this happens again. Without a wall in the middle what do you expect! If you lose control that's what happens and there's not much you can do about it...

  • @buggable hundreds over people go over centre and if the had a wall they would crash they just need a grass medium strip to slow em down if they do spin out

  • @seceretagent008 grass doesnt really slow you down at those speeds, or at any speed over 20, kinda learned that one the hard way.

  • @phil656565 soft grass digs the tyres in and softens the blow your still going to crash but it will soften the blow thats why the have tyres on the walls

  • @seceretagent008 yea tire walls and safer barriers are pretty good at absorbing energy, i think sand would work better than grass though, when i say i learned it the hard way i ment it, my brother decided to hydroplane our pickup into the ditch (wet grass soft muddy dirt) and slammed into an embankment at 50+mph, grass doesnt slow you down much

  • Bruce Allen and Kenny Koretsky two of the really good guys of the sport....Bruce never raced again after this accident....Can't say that I blame him....

  • was he okay that looked like it went through the roll cage to me...

  • DAMN POOR guy's :( !

  • man it must have been scary for the guy driving at him

  • The driver was Bruce Allen and he was not killed, he actually retired from racing in 2005 due to lack of adequate sponsorship...

  • did he die?

  • No, Bruce has since retired and Kenny broke his legs but has returned to racing.

  • Neither driver broke anything in the crash. Amazingly neither suffered anything worse than bruising and abrasions.

Equally amazingly, Bruce Allen was out of hospital the next day. Kenny Koretsky got out of his car unaided after the crash.

  • but his lefgs were still broken. He may have climbed out under his own power but missed the rest of the season due to the injury's he recieved to his leg/legs.

  • and I thin bruce wound up with a bruised heart.

  • No, you're wrong there. You must be thinking of some other crash.

"The Reher-Morrison race team has announced that driver Bruce Allen is being released from Parkland Hospital in Dallas to convalesce at home. Allen sustained no broken bones in his horrific Friday night accident. He suffered a concussion and abrasions to his hands but was alert and communicating with his wife and teammates . Ken Koretsky has a bruised heart from the impact and remains hospitalized at Parkland."

  • man....

  • That was at Memphis in the Fall of 2005

  • HOLY CRAP!!!

  • I was sitting in the left lane stands and watched this. It was either in Baytown or Ennis. I thought surely it killed at least one of them. I think it broke Kenny's foot. that's it. the safety engineered into these cars is unbelievable.

  • thats why roll cages are the best invention ever, next to the car of course :)

  • actually Bruce Allen the guy in the car that got tboned was basically un-hurt.. and yes im dead serious.. Kenny Koretsky (sp) the guy in the nitro fish car was more hurt then he was. His son use to raec jr. dragsters.. i also raced jr. dragsters so i was talking to his son kenny about the crash

  • ohh

  • OMG wtf he cant actualy survive this shitnes? The Front of the car just Got riped off !! Shit ...i'guesss the race ended a tie?:P ahah

  • the car totally smashed if he is alive then it's a miracle

  • My husband works with Bruce Allen at Reher-Morrison. He is not racing pro stock anymore. However, he did recover from his injuries.

  • this is drag racing not pro stock

  • You're an idiot. The class of cars that is drag racing is 'pro-stock'

  • oh sorry

  • haloharry u need 2 stick 2 the coutch and shut the hell up, god ur a dumb ass, i bet u never even seen annything other than halo, learn some before u talk out of ur ass,o ya that is pro stock dumbass

  • @haloharry Yes it is, genius, Pro Stock Drag Racing. NHRA was the 1st racing organization to use the term "Pro Stock" back in the late '60 when they invented this class.

  • did he live?

  • yes he did
