I'm also 6'6" and this gun is doesn't even rock back in my hands. It looks like a beastier gun when used by people who can't handle the recoil.
The average price in the U.S. for a new .50 AE is arround $1350, less if you buy a used one, or find a gun shop that will give you a good deal. I payed $1050 for my .50 AE a couple of years ago, which was a damn good deal that I couldn't pass up. Spent the money I saved on a Hogue one piece rubber grip and a Millet adjustable rear sight. If you buy one you won't regret it.

Right now I'm between the Brushed Chrome, which is easy to maintain, is relatively inexpensive and looks quite flattering on the gun, or Titanium Gold, which is easy strong and beautiful; albeit expensive. What's your call, Mark?
Mine is standard black oxide. It's easy to clean, spare barrels and mags don't need refinished, and the light scrapes from a scope don't show as much.

the baby eagle isnt actually a "baby eagle" its the Jericho 941 and actually has nothing in common with the deagle beyond the company it comes from IMI.
yeah, it's not a great tatical or personel defence weapon, but it's one helluva fun gun. personally, i'd prefer a glock 18c over an eagle :). machine pistols are more my style. nice vid!

I only have one gripe: You're supposed to pull the slide back instead of using the slide release. That little extra motion could help if you ever had a fault round with a weird rim or something(especially at .50 AE pressures.)

I just fired a Desert Eagle this past weekend. As I'm new to shooting, my brother-in-law was nearby in case it flew out of my hand when I fired it. It did not fly out of my hand, which impressed him. All I can say is: Firing a Desert Eagle is a hell of an adrenaline rush! The muzzle flash looks like an explosion! Very fun gun to shoot.

Its the Brushed Chrome, looks pretty much like stainless steel though. Its beautiful and my favorite of the finishes offered for the Desert Eagles.

In holland we can`t shoot outdoor in the garden, only in the shootingclub. But this is better then best. Have fun with it.

yeah, it's not a great tatical or personel defence weapon, but it's one helluva fun gun. personally, i'd prefer a glock 18c over an eagle :). machine pistols are more my style. nice vid!

Dude, you have some real talent in making videos.
It was really cool for being home-made.
I only have one gripe: You're supposed to pull the slide back instead of using the slide release. That little extra motion could help if you ever had a fault round with a weird rim or something(especially at .50 AE pressures.)

Dude! That was an awsome vid. I loved the way you introduced the gun from different camera angles(didnt come off cheezy or boring), great detail. Then making it look old with the black and white vid effect was genious. Then.....you touched it off with freebird. Im out to get my own DE50AE. Great Job!

I got tons of flack as I am picking up my first .50AE tomorrow . . . and I got it gold-plated to make the matter worse. People keep telling me how impractical it is, so I'm glad to hear your rant. I went out and shot a .44 magnum revolver - is that about the same recoil? I'm just hoping that it's not too much recoil that it's unpleasant to shoot.

yeh its made by them for Magnum Research Inc. Its not used in military. ITs just for recreational shooting or hunting.

I just fired a Desert Eagle this past weekend. As I'm new to shooting, my brother-in-law was nearby in case it flew out of my hand when I fired it. It did not fly out of my hand, which impressed him. All I can say is: Firing a Desert Eagle is a hell of an adrenaline rush! The muzzle flash looks like an explosion! Very fun gun to shoot.
