@Secretbrony101 2 things. One, no business savvy entrepreneur would make that kind of deal, with unfair profit split and complete dependence on someone else, with someone they just met. Second, there is no way to know how the ponies of Ponyville would react to such a drastic price increase over cider. Some may decide that the cider, not being a necessity, is not worth the new price. If enough decide it isn't worth it, the Apple family could be looking at a loss in sales.
