FYI, MTV did not cut out the guitar solo, if that's what some of the commenters think. Rather, it was FZ who made the decision at some point after 1977 that Montana is to no longer feature any of his guitar solos (the only exception is one week of December 1984). Why he decided not to solo post-1977 is unclear to quite a number of Zappaholics, myself included.
