i know many people prefer manga over anime usually cause there aren't fillers and it sticks to the ploy but this was one series i enjoyed both ways and actually enjoy anime more just to be able to see the characters really come to life snd theres moore action,but this like almost every other show based off a manga stopped before it was finished,and i don't mind fillers if there fun to watch or can be tied in later somehow but not finishing the show really bugs me as most shows only go 1 volume

Anyone but me notice when she was fighting Kuyou (the blue guy at 1:54) that he kicks Moka's ass at first and then she just comes back and destroys him without any kind of build up to gaining more power or anything. Just one second he is strong the next he is weak wtf?

@Gam3Junkie7 thats how it usually is with manga vs. anime, they made the anime darker because people who watch the anime want more of a light spirited show to watch plus it's more fun for the animators to make it fluffy than to make it a good story

@kyng77 meh, both granted were pretty bad in general though. The first season, yes, wasn't quite as overly harem and perverted up, but the actual order of events, and characters were mixed up, not there, etc... For example, Mizore didn't come in until later, after the encounter of the school enforcers (the Fox-spirit enemy in this AMV), and the Witch (Ruby) incident didn't happen quite like that either, Tsukune also began his vampire/ghoul descent by this point. But yes, I love the manga itself.

I agree, they should've just done a 'naruto' and adapted it scene for scene from the manga, there were much better villains, and better humour in the manga. Plus the anime left out all the shit that happens to Tsukune and the 'Vampire'. (Those that are up to date with season 2 of manga, will know why the quotations are there)

@soravnaruto I'll admit that the anime IS "OK" but it can never match the manga. After the first season I didn't bother continuing since the complete lack of how they carried things out compared to the Manga sickened me: I felt they were mocking the Manga.

Personally my favorite part is *spoiler alert* when Tsukune starts changing and I aboslutely love how drastic it is for him: drinking water endlessly, trying to sate a thirst that he can't bear and he longs for Mokona's neck on sight.

Sure the first FMA Anime was OK but it was so vastly different because the show was expressly given permission to deviate and write their own story because the Manga updates only monthly and then FMA Brotherhood comes out and idiots are bashing it for crap reasons like "it's not the real anime" BS it's the REAL Anime because it mostly follows the Manga you R TARDS! sorry...had to rant.

@lijourt Yeah I'm more for the anime on the death part because characters dying always makes me feel sad but as for everything else yeah the anime sucks...well except for the sound track the sound track is just effing epic and some of the material is genius like making Death City a giant robot when Death could've wished for anything and then there's the SHINIGAMI COFFEE TABLE FLIP~! also when they stayed true to the Manga it was great but I hated it for deviating.

@lijourt Yeah I get that but I mean for an action series usually in an action series like Soul Eater deaths are often very sparse among the good guys and only then are meant to be very meaningful like in DBZ: "I will die to save my friends" and so on. Shows like Higurashi and Elfen Lied and especially BLASSREITER (where only TWO of the characters survive) thrive on character death. BTW I VERY much recommend BLASSREITER...you'll be upset and angry and just anxious the whole time.

@lijourt Oh no, no the anime is stops: that's what I watched and like I said it only had two people left alive. So much action, drama and unadulterated imminent doom just fills every episode.

Anyway yeah look at a generic action anime and you get="hero no die, villain die. Hero heal impossible wounds like they paper cuts, villain suffers ages from lighter injury."

For instance: I prefer the One Piece anime (NOT 4KIDS! *bursts into flame upon speaking their cursed name*) for their impressive non-canon filler arcs and the movies that they add to the almost completely spot-on manga-anime conversion, a favorite filler of mine would be the one where...pfft...Luffy had an octopus in his pants...clip is video: Dammit Luffy.
