The best class for me was, primary: M4a1 with fmj and holographic sight. Secondary: m9 with fmj and extended magazine: equipment : frag and stun gun perks bling pro hardline pro and sitrep pro. That worked best for me as an assault class

another good tip: when you pick up a gun from the ground double tap y so cancel that animation

if you double tap y/triangle right as you start to pump the spas-12, you can shoot a little faster

the timing in riot shield cancelling seems harder on PS3 because log the small bit of lag in the game. You must know when you hit the guy before you switch out
