I love P.J Harvey and everything she touches is gold. But i also love Nick Cave and i can't help but relate there failed relationship with one i also had with a black haired, green eyed talented girl. Nick Cave wrote an exceptional album "The Boatman calls" which was partly inspored by their breckup. Polly Jean breaks my heart like that girl did, because i can relate to the pain Nick Cave felt. Anyway this is an astonishing song and their both two of the best artists ever.

this is a video made by producer nigel godrich. he did an entire series called "from the basement," basically a bunch of recordings of bands in small jam space performing. radiohead, damien rice, sonic youth, white stripes, thom yorke, albert hammond jr are all examples of artists who have performed from the basement.

no, actually its from a british tv show called "From The Basement" where the producer Nigel Godrich produce a live show from the best musicians around the scene, for example: radiohead(obviously) the short wave set, beck, the white stripes etc. its an incredible show
