@dreambox85 the better question is why does Grendizer needs help vs the Vegan gaurds. who is helping the guards? minfo dont count, they are about as useful as attacking a tank with tennis balls. we see the duke get even more help in his 2nd encounter with the vegan guard when Koji helps with spacer 2.
The matter is that Gin Gin was piloted by a very skillful pilot who can make use of Gin Gin 100%, not whether Gin Gin body is weak. Captin Gorman is very sharp in manuvering and knows how to avoid Grendizer attacks and then sting him.
P.S: Gorman knew how to neutralize all Grendizer's attacks and weapons.

That's probably through. As you have alluded to in the past the duke "learned" more in each episode and became more of a skilled pilot. We see evidence of this in epi 36 where Gren uses the "over the shoulder Screw Pressure Punch" to catch Zegra offguard and damage his arm. However I still think Gin Gin would be difficult to damage from any frontal attack by Gren because of his double shield that can easily defend any sudden frontal attack, even if surprised.
Have U. noticed each time Grendizer flights one of the Vegan Gaurd saucers that he requires outside assistance. For example here in episode 7 we see Koji attempt to help Gren but he is overcome bt the skill of Gorman. Later he is assisted by Blacki. Again in 36 we see Koji return to assist Gren, but this time he has more powerful Spacer 2 & together they are able to overcome the 2nd of Vega's Gaurd. Therefore can we conclude that independently Vega's gaurds are more powerful than Grendizer?
I love how they keep using the same animations through out the series for example when the minifo's laser hits his spin saucer, you know he's going to use the spin saucer
So Koji's home made saucer that he bulit in a garage is stonger than Captin Gormans robot??? Ok that makes alot of sence?? Do you know the secen Im refering to in Episode 1, its a joke they hit him 4 to 5 times!!!!
Did you note the breif view of Captin Gormans Robot in the new Go Nagai Robots Mobilize Clip? You really only see the sheild but it was a nice touch to see this history drawn again, how about some more.
Thats true but my main prob is the convient inconsistency as we see in Epsisode 1 when Koji fist meets Minfo saucers which hit his home made saucer MULTIPLE times including him via the glass yet his saucer remain intact and flying acting like it was hit with a water cannon. What did the Vegan have their guns on, play mode? YET when Captin Gorman Battle robot get hit just ONCE it blows a complete hole in his back and changes the outcome with Grandizer who is saved. Unbelivable bullshit.

Also the Vegan saucer's lasers didnt do anything when hitting Grandizer yet blew a hole in Captain Gorman's robot, this does make any sence, who wrote this story? its not consistant and lazy not to draw in the damage to Grandizer, it would have been a more intesting and suspenfull cartoon. ala Manzinger Z
