@maculifrons hey thx for the info. The bees are back this spring but I haven't been able to find their nest this year. They didn't nest in the Birdhouse. Also I see other types of Bees with different markings in my rhodo's. I haven't had time to film them and it has been raining for weeks now, a bit cold for this time of year.
These are bumble bees. Genus Bombus. Probably Bombus ternarius, the tricolored bumble bee
