You gotta admit, it COULD use a webcam - that'd probably be there in its next generation, but using it to capture video would look stupid.

Ppl, there are reasons they don't over-pack it with features. Part of it is the production cost, and there are probably extra advanced specs that would be required if they have a particular extra feature on this thing. Think about it - how shitty and annoying would the iPod feel if it had a speaker on it.

... I paid $250 LESS for my HP laptop, and it has a better processor, screen size, and graphics card. It has a disk drive, USB port, SD card slot, HDMI out, webcam, and an OS that can multitask better than almost all others. These are things you simply can't have on an iPad, which is $250 MORE than I paid for my computer. Can someone tell me how this pricing is fair?

@GTSRBOY HTML 5 isn't fully standardized yet. Why don't people understand this. And it won't be for atleast a few years. And even when it does websites will have to transition over, hire people to rewrite their sites, change the format of their content etc and that will cost lots of money. So maybe in 2014-2015 Stevie might have a valid argument but as far as now Flash is the way. Unless you have a mac that is.

And think about all of the photo-editing apps that could look so cool on the iPad. But that isn't too much of a bummer also. People are just looking for reasons to whine about everything.

I'm buying an 16GB WiFi-only iPad soon. That's enough for me and it's not too expensive.

I think the keyboard docking station was genious. Seriously for mobile professional/students that need a device to surf the web, check email, FB, and create documents, this is great! Very interesting.. I might wait for the 2nd Gen, but I think Apple may have something here.

The age of vista is over, the efficiency on 64bit processors and its redesigned kernel ensures that 7 won't fail horribly. Maybe it wont be the best, but certainly 'it just works' And companies such as Hp, Accer, Dell, Gateway ect. are going to be releasing they're own tablet pc's, with windows 7 so one can rip stuff and/or get other os's like a hackintosh or linux. And competetive pricing will ensure more affordability. I cant p2p shit on my mac.
