  • Superb tribute; thankyou. He was a great and he would have been one of greatest. What a handsome man, what a handsome talent, what a shame he died too young.

  • Cevert is great !

  • Really beautifully done - cheers

  • Gracias por tan lindo recuerdo. Hermoso!

  • pilote tres doué , vu comme un futur champion. disparu trop tot.

  • It was like Paul Newman and Steve Macqueen would appear next to it at any time to complete the trio of thugs and get a grand prize of dreams.

  • As we say in Yiddish:

    ein Mensch

  • isso sim era formula 1, onde a celula de protecao do piloto era somente seu macacao....

  • Thank you for this wonderful tribute.

  • We will never forget you Francois, we miss you...always!

  • beautiful video

  • Terrible loss for f1. Respect

  • Excellent video. Thanks.

  • lmao look at the old race grid cars were starting on the grass lol

  • Fantastic Job! Congratulations! Great Driver. Great Song. This song is the last one on "perfect storm". "Salud Francois"!

  • Imagens magníficas assim como música e edição...Linda homenagem!!!

    Célia

  • For the french guys that used to read (and probably still do) the Michel Vaillant comic books, Cevert was often featured in the older ones.

  • What a age... Drivers... Teams... Owners... it was so different... time when the drivers are like heroes... people that lefts everyhing behind the wheel... times will never come back... Thanks for the Video... Best Regards

  • Linda edição, maravilhosa homenagem.

Me emociono sempre assistindo parte da vida de Cevert...Lastimável sua perda!

  • i like the song? what is? rip François Cevert,

  • he would be 66 years old now .. so sad all the years he lost.

  • thanks man

    cevert... the best ever :(

  • This engaging, dearly-loved and admired man, who bought such pleasure and pride to so many, was born in horrifiyingly dangerous circumstances: in occupied Paris to a Russian: Jews active in Resistance. And then he rose like a mythical Dauphin. Family riches were incidental: he shone on his own. Robbed of life before his talent & respectful accumulation of knowledge and skill got the rewards coming.

Name another whose memory so tears at the emotions of those not born to remember them. I can't.

  • super ,mais la musique est pourrie

  • surement le meilleur pilote francais de tous les temps!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Certainly the best looking! That's for sure!

I know Jackie misses him. Fate robbed us of a great Champion.

I wish my intellect would let me believe in an after life.

  • It's sad ,so sad

  • fantastic

    rip cevert...the prince

  • Gone, but not forgotten. R.I.P. Monsieur Cevert....

  • François, the eternal 2nd. Impossible to forget him. I saw him racing in Montjuich Park in my childhood. He died when I was ten. All the F1 fans at school were in shock. One of the most charismatic driver of all times. We'll always remember you, François.

  • Tremendous, thanks! The the most heartrbreaking moment in F1 history, surely? Wonderfully talented young man, wrong era. Elio de Angelis suffered the same way.

  • in your inner you want to cry .... because the only really clear how many died at the driverless what they loved

  • Exactly, clueso... it is so heartbreaking to see this glamorous handsome guy to disappear in the history of F1... what a shame that it happened. He had everything - and it was gone in a split second. Tragedy of high rank.

  • Thanks François. From Sao Paulo, Brazil

  • It's hard, you want to move on with your life, but you get drawn back to this amazing person and wish he was here because that would make you feel better, and more importantly, the world would be a better place.

  • jacky steward was right... he would have been champion

  • Agreed!

  • Konfuusio, what a great tribute - I have to say that again even though I watched it a couple months ago... I appreciate it, if possible, even more now. Good job.

  • Great video, Cevert would have been a champion for sure

  • excellent

  • what is the name of that song????????

  • doesnt matter

  • Beutiful Tribute......To a beautiful man.. Who was and still is so very sadly missed by those who did and still do love him. He was a Prince amoung the Commoners. An Angel gone too soon

  • Exactly what I thought of him. Sadly missed and still loved. Young Prince in the kingdom of speed.

  • ow parabens pelo video

    muito bem montadu sem mencionar

    q françois cevert era brilhante

    te mais

  • Thank you - fantastic tribute

  • aah the good old days

  • Always love watching Sir Jackie with the Prince; they are such an odd couple, but their bond transcends their differences and they become even greater champions as a consequence. So sad that Jackie wasn't allowed to pass the crown to his protege, but his decades' effort for driver safety is a great tribute...

  • très belle hommage à françois mon éternel champion.

  • François Cevert should have certainly been the first French F1 World Champion but his wonderful career ended suddenly in a fraction of a second by a sunny day, the 6th of October 1973, on the Watking Glen's track. He was not only a great driver but also a nice character, an artist (good piano player). He was much talented and this film is one of the best ways to remember him. Thanks to make us thinking about François. Even 35 years later, he is still alive because he is living in our hearts.

  • A fitting tribute to a great man. I so strongly wish that I had been alive during that time period, where I think that in a way, Formula 1 was at its peak...RIP Francois

  • Great work. You should be proud, I know Francois would be.

  • Bello tributo. Desde Argentina, gracias por recordarme una de las mejores épocas del automovilismo deportivo internacional.

  • One of the best tributes i've seen.

    Very sensible and never spectacular.

Really nice vid and very personally.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Excellent tribute.

  • More Beautiful than Words can say. The song says it all really....Well suited as a Tribute to a Beautiful man and a Fantastic Driver....Still so sadly missed. R.I.P Francois. Prince in the Kingdom of Speed. Forever Racing that Great Track in the Skye with Ronnie, Jochim, Jo, Jimmy and Graham.

  • Incredibly fast, film star looks, charisma to spare, a talented musician: a total superstar taken from us, as so many were. Unfortunateley in the F1 of today there would be no room for Francois, James, Gilles, Jochen....

  • Very very very very beautiful! The best way to remember Francois.

  • Absolutely brilliant to see! A great hero!

  • that's right :))))

  • 5 stars!

  • Great video, it is such a shame that he died before he could prove himself in F1,

    P.S. What`s the song name???

  • "Yours Forever" by John Mellencamp

  • Just about the best tribute Ive seen...
