  • omg i can make my shoulders outta place and every one says im wierd D:

  • thank you for helping me i finally got it your alwsome

  • There's no such thing as double-jointed, the word I think you're looking for is hyper mobile.

  • hey cheez i just started to train my flexabliity and few days ago my shoulder poped out little bit. my question is if i pop out my shoulder, is that bad for my future? such as i started to lift stuff and my shoulder get dislocated and stuff. I heard shoulder dislocated patients suffers a lot is that the same thing? please help i want to go further but i cannot risk my shoulder

  • you are awesome !!!!!! :D

  • I'm going to subscribe because I think your amazing and I wanna be stretchy just like you :)

  • Dear Lauren,

Thanks a lot. I'm hoping to start back into dance training, and I forgot some of the stretches I used to do. Your post was really helpful, and taught me some new tips.

Keep up the good work, and good luck!

  • It has nothing to do with u being double jointed. I am just saying.

  • Most of those I can already do, plus it helps being skinny =D

  • This really helped me out! Thx!

  • i have a question is it a good stretch if i just go into a bridge and straighten my legs?

  • I would not say double jointed as that does not exist. You may have EDS Hypermobility Syndrome. You should check it out.

  • wow. i was good all up til the "go onto your forearms part. i can't get my head between my arms....any advice???

  • hey ur really good i was in gymnastics for 9 years then i gave up cause we moved away and now im really getting back into all my streching ur video really helped but c when ur in bridge and u go down onto ur forearms my head doesnt go under any advice ? :)

  • You're A Back Bender Like Me :)

  • @Paganxiomara try checking out my vid on contortion its called tamia flexible check out the episodes they give you avice on strectching

  • If you dislocate easily, you should look into getting tested for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Type 3 Hypermobility.

  • I hate when people correct their obviously exaggerated statements.

  • I cant do the bridge pose... i cant lift my uper body or head, i can only lift my butt. I think its because my arms are not srtong enough. Any advice?

  • @aimi360 ummm i have advice check out my new episode coming out on september 2th 2011 witch should be today cuz im up lte loll but it shows how you could get uper strenth i believe it will be episode 6 o and check out the other videos goodbye

  • @Tamiasvoice Here's some advice try not spamming =D lol

    ?

  • The streching helped me thanks

  • aki se abla en español no en ingles y puntooooooooooooo

  • u trying to show us how to get bendy then your telling us we will never get bendy what kinda filth is that

  • @01tamika lol i never said u wont get bendy...i said it probably wont come naturally for most people like it did for me so you have to stretch a lot

  • this is such a helpful vid! i am training to be a contortionist and i stretch everyday for about 2hours each day anf this really helps thank you!!! you gave alot of stretches that i needed and I'm going to add them to my 2hour stretch. JUST LOVELY.

  • how long did it take you to get so flexible? and what age were you when you started? did you learn it by yourself or you had a coach?

  • Doing these streatches comes really easy to people so those who get freaked by is that person in pain by doing this. No we don't feel it as bad pain it is like an adrenilin rush like a runner gets in their legs. But everone should try this just not as dramatic as her. Thank you for this video.

  • @COOLGIRLSFROMSISAK no you dont have to be skinny to do this but you cant be like really really fat but you dont have to be skinny because doing all of these stretches and poses actually tone and strengthen the body if you do enough of them. So by doing these you will actually lose weight and get toned after a while but you have to stick with it.

  • U should do splits

  • if u do the bridge or backbend u shld role ur back out it really helps alot.

  • U r awesome girl!!! I loved ur turorial and it was very helpful for me. And We love u!!!!

  • this is very helpful thank you. but how do i stop my back and right leg from hurting so much when i do this?

  • ok i tried laying on my stomach and pulling my leg to my shoulder...was very hard hopefully i get better at it!

  • Do you need to be skinny to be a controist?

  • your hot!

  • lol. I can move my arms further and even play jump rope with them... but i have terrible back damage from wrestling soi don't bend like i used to ;*(

  • wtf, it doesnt even look real when you start doing the bridge tricks

  • there is no such things a double jointed, I'm in advance anatomy and everyone has the same amount of joints unless broken and such

  • do you warm up?

  • That's not how you got bendy.

    You're holding out!

  • "Bendy"

    Awsome.

  • thanks.

  • i can put my feet on my head bending backwards and none of my friends can (: hahaha

  • your really good how long did it take you to do all this and it did really help me alot im learning to be a contortionist and ive kinda got the basics dwn you shld make more videos please

  • well this video is good but when you say that you dont think that noone will get as flexible as you at 1:06

thats kinda wrong because anyone can get as flexible and

maybe even more flexible then you

    nice tips though:)

  • i have a question about the bridge with the elbows instead of hands. my arms seems to be too short or my neck isn't flexible enough yet but i can't seem to be able to do it right. any suggestions? i can do a pretty good bridge with my hands but i'm at a loss for my elbows so any help would be great.

  • Can you make a video about streching all the back including the warm-up ? Please it will be so useful :)

  • you are fantastic ^^ see yuo in contortion unite thanks for your video

  • DONT USE A DOOR BECUASE IT WILL COME OPEN ON YOU AND YOU'LL FALL ON YOUR HEAD

  • the elbow stand that you do in 3:38, i'm not sure if i'm doing it wrong, but it feels like all the blood is rushing to my face. it's a rather unpleasant sensation.

    advice?

  • just wondering but why are you in the bathroom

  • hey cheezee do you think that this excersises will help me to grow taller?? did you grow taller by doing this?

  • damn!i will break my back if i do this

    but this is awesome!

  • Fantastic tips i really thanks to you and Keep it up! :-)

  • What bending exercise do you think would help to grow taller a few inches?

  • Thanks so much for the help! I only noticed this video after I sent you that message... sorry about that, you must be annoyed with all the messages... my bad!

Anyway congrats! Hope you can find the time to keep it up, it's really cool!

  • you are really flexible. thanks for making this it really helped me with gymnastics! :)

  • how long did it take u to learn that

  • WTF?!? haha thats awesome x]

  • When you do the stretch on your front, bringing one leg up...I have trouble getting my leg to go in a straight line, or actually grabbing my foot.

Do i just need to work on my back flexibility, or would it help more to work on my quads?

    x

  • @TheTinyChangesxo work on your back flexibility. quad flexibility helps you do the splits though along with back flexibility. im working on it myself. good luck :)

  • 3:26 Could barely touch my heels ...and nope i cant sit on my head yet

4:00 Yep. It's a hard one...both feet are at my shoulders.. soon to the ground.

4:30 Few inches to a foot from my head.

    -.-

im a guy doing this. by the way. it's fun! start practicing!! yall won't get back problems =D

  • @stephguitarbitch just thinking about that makes me laugh haha

  • Very helpfull tutorial!!!How long time did u need for getting so flexible!???!!I'm an acrobat and i really want to get more when comes about contortion!!!Thanks.

  • thanks,this actually helped mee:]]]

  • this should be flag on the hotness of this video

  • Looks great. Thanks for sharing.

  • Are you self taught?

  • thank u sooo much u did a gr8 job explaining things instead of just "ok do this." now "do that" lol TY!

  • kay im also double jointed and hyper mobile, practically everywhere but in my neck. like when you say to look up. i cant do that:( any tips?

  • Have you ever considered taking upr rhythmic gymnastics? Your back flexibility is amazing! I can do splits but I can't do that xD

  • i have a guestion if your legs feel like there about to pop when ur stretching 4 splits should u let your leg pop this question is for everyone

  • i cant do it!!! haha 2:14, 3:35, . im not flexible ^^ btw, tnx

  • tytyty 4 these tips sense ive been doing it i have been more flexible thnkz cheezeehxox ; )

  • Nice

Thankz 4 Teaching Me ill Try Them And If It Helps Thanks Very Much 5 Rates =D

  • The vid is helpful. I followed the stretching tutorial and my back got more bendy.

Still, back flexibility is not easy to achieve. I train as a contortionist for one year now and the most difficult thing I can do is a chinstand, the splits, and a back bend against wall.

I was borned wit front flexibility (if I can call it that way) since I can do a heel stretch and then put my leg behind my head since I was like 4, without any gymnastics training.

    Anyway, good luck Lauren :3

  • I have a question, I have a really flexible back, and I've been working on my bridges.

But, I can't get my arms straight like yours are. Like, mine are straightened, but they sort of stick out. They're not like more in, if that makes sense..they're just not straight likes yours..How do you fix that?

  • yea im goin to try this strectches and see if they help me and if they do im goin to tell u i hope i get as flexible as u lol

  • ur really fexible and thankyou

  • Great tips! Some of this I never even thought of, LOL. Thanks!

  • a really helpfull video tnx a lot!

  • The progress you've made in a year is really impressive. Is it all self-taught or do you have a coach/go to a gym (sorry if you've answered this before)? Do you stretch every day and about how long do you spend in a stretching session?

  • its all self taught. I stretch about 4 times a week for about an hour or so.

  • Thank you for the reply! ^_^ Wow, that infrequently and you've made so much progress--you obviously have a natural inclination. It'll be really cool to see where you'll be in a year from now. ^^

  • @cheezeehx0x 4 times a week for only an hour?! and you are that good? I practice hours beyond hours 7 days a week and dont see much progress. Perhaps you are naturally flexible and im naturally inflexible.

  • @qroxxy She's different from us because her ligaments aren't hardened. I have been practicing as much as a year and still don't see much. If you are a guy, training contortion is ridiculously tougher.

  • @fateindustry Not necessarily. I am a girl and have always been inflexible even since young. I guess if ppl train from really small (like toddler age) then they can say they have always been flexible. I never developed that and in elementary school my ligaments were already "hardened" Now in my twenties I have picked up yoga/contortion. I have been doing it for a year and a half. I've gotta say I have improved a lot. When I started it was very tough too. You just need to practice.

  • @asianhomebucket I was an addict towards practice.. I was practicing 6-7 days a week and tracked my progress everyday. I took people's advice to rest and warm up well before practice. Nowadays, even with practice, I haven't improved for over 5 months.

  • @fateindustry Wow, that really sucks. I mean when I say I improved a lot I mean a lot for me. I mean now I can touch my toes. That for me is a lot. Yes. My improvements are actually really small. But it's something. Be gentle with yourself. Maybe you need to give yourself rest days. One person on youtube said it worked better for her to stretch one day and rest one day, rather than stretch everday. I mean 5 months is still a small amount of time. For some ppl it takes years cuz were not young.

  • thanks thanks thanks. im a boy 14 and always been kinda flexible but not really so ive recently been watching contortionists (flexibleboyy) and mimic them and your video will be greatly appreciated

  • Niiiice tut :D , helped a lot

You just made the stretches look so easy hehe

btw tks again for the tut , gonna work hard now :D

  • You're freakin' AMAZING! Any chnace you can put your legs behind your head? If so, can you do a video of it???

  • i dont think i can. im not much of a front bender :P

  • Really? I always thought frontbending was easier. I can put both my feet behind my head but I can't do a triple fold. =/

  • I can put both legs behind my head with out touching them, and when im standing up i can put one behind my head without touching it

  • congratulations. me too.

  • awesome! ive always wanted to find someone else who could do that. i feel like a freak sometimes

  • ha ha im going to give this a try :) i can do the bridge to forarms, but i cant lift my head up XD now thats something i need to practice :) thanks

  • thx you helped out alot :D

  • omg, this is great, it helped me alot!

    your awesome

  • Thanks a lot for this tutorial!

    I'm gonna give it a try :D

  • u r maybe the best at what u do, wow!!! keep it up, good luck

  • lol thanks :P

  • 4:24 how to do it?

  • what do you mean how? just lean back i guess? lol

  • Does this in anyway affect your spinal cord? I've always been interested in contortionism, not seen many guys try it though. Guess I'm a little scared I'll snap my back/neck in half haha, or do some permanent damage...

  • i dont think it does affect your spinal chord but im no doctor, so im not 100% sure. If you dont push yourself to much, im sure you'll be fine. anyone can do contortion.

  • thanx!! this is really helpful :D

  • How often do you do these stretches? Can you do the splits?

  • i like Your backbending

    thanks for the clip

    You are realy flexible

  • your so lucky that your just naturally flexible!

  • it seems so easy for you, you are amazing

  • ... arm tricks you do are a clear example of your natural talent. Those tricks ar almost impossible for naturally unflexible people =(

  • Bet you're naturally flexible. It's nice to see contortionists on tv, or simply a dancer doing the splits, try it out for the first time, and realize you can doit to ;-)

  • Thank you for posting this, i'll let you know how i get on, thank ou once again xx

  • Very nice! You're so beautiful too... can you maybe put your legs behind your head in a future video?

  • im not a frontbender. sorry.

  • Hehe, what you call "just this" since it's too easy to be any stretch for you (placing the soles of your feet to your head), is still way beyond impossible for ordinary people. :-) That just shows how extremely good you have become.

Judging by the immense progress you had, you must know what you're doing. :-) So this probably good tips for anyone who's already flexible but wants to get better.

  • thanks this did help xx

  • yeah thank you!!! it really help! :D

  • WOW your cobra stretch is insane!!!!

Please do that more ok and see just how deep your can go ok?

Like see if you can wrap your feet around your neck and touch your heals together!

  • Thanks for the tips. Just to let you know, there's no such thing as double-jointed, it's simply that with an unusual joint structure people are able to dislocate it or hyperextend it in ways people with normal joint structures can't.

  • Joints are not "unusual" and do not have a different structure, they simply have greater range of motion.

  • Wow Thank you so much for posting that really did help=)
