Hey man quick question... i have a dean V schenker and i want to sand off the top and back to make it natural looking. do i just sand it and done or do i have to put something over the wood? thanks dude
@DeadlyDictator You should use a satin clear glossing then. It not only helps preserve the wood, but also lets the wood still breath so your tones and sustain will be noticiably more brighter and a little airy.
I just got my new block from You're good ol' country the United States, first go at wiring/soldering up a guitar with new pots, 3 way switch, new seymour duncan humbucker and single coil and jack. and it only fuckin works! i did that vid with a little drawing i did, you sugested looking at seymour duncan website circuit diagrams, i had to get the info from about 3 different diagrams and worked it out. So happy, Thanks for your reply a couple of weeks ago.
@peteq1972 New bridge block for floyd rose type. I'm an electrician so i kinda worked it out and thought its gotta work, and it fuckin does. Rock on 522drwagon.
3/32" is better suited for bass guitar. I like to set my action to 2/32" @ the 12th fret. Sometimes I go as high as 5/64" on the low E, while maintaining 2/32" on the high E...
2 and-a-half 32nds IS 5/64ths (LOL!!!), so we set ours the same. I don't know HOW you play those heavy-ass strings though. You obviously have some strong hands. I use 009-046.
I laughed so fucking hard when i clicked on this video expecting some quiet nerdy goody two shoes quietly saying "hi there . . ." but nopw I got I AM A FUCKING IMPROVISOR!
