Honeslty, really. Mars ill is one of the best things that has ever happend to hip hop. I know they dont care about recognition, but they deserve it. Quality and talent in everything they do.
I know i remember ahmad comin out in the early 2000's with 4th avenue jones and i was suprised that was actually him rappin. You know, considering his 90's old school days "back in the days when i was young i'm not again anymore" single that everyone was wildin about. But yo, what the heck happened to his voice since the 90's? I know he couldn't have been THAT young where he went through puberty and his voice changed That drastically. No way, so what happened 2 him?
You that's dawg Manchild and I taught him everything he knows. and yo Dust is the ILLest White DJ I know cause he taught me everything I know LOL. peace and axel grease.
Just got Propain the album, whole album is awesome. Reminds me a little of Beastie Boys with the funky guitar, but these guys believe in Jesus. That makes all the dif.
Propain is a dope record, I myself am glad I bought it. I wish all rap was like this speaking the truth about life. Cause we can't be afraid of the truth man.
This is one of my favorite hip-hop artists and one of my fave songs in his collection. That second verse by my boy Ahmad Jones is just amazing. Gets me so amped!
I caught these guys live in concert back in 2004 or 2005 and they are even better in concert. ManChild and Dust are both humble and concious. They even signed my CD with out any fronting. This is my favorite group period. Christian rap or not. they simply keep it real
wasn't ahmad one of the featured artists on the procussions' "5 sparrows for 2 cents" album? he's a pretty sick mc

I don't think it matters if they're Christian as long as they're putting more thought and depth in their verses.
This is just like Talib Kweli's "More or Less"

Seems to me Christian hip hop is getting more political. Which is a good thing. :) Battle rap about issues!!!
