@PullMeIntoTheSky its not the transmission thats the problem its the clutch not slipping thats the problem, to put this kind of power down you would need a super aggressive clutch that would not be very streetable. and a straight cut gearbox would be god damn loud and annoying on the street.

We Americans get properly screwed in the car market, and get offered very few manual transmission options. Real driving enthusiasts here despise automatic transmissions. Don't believe everything you hear in the news and from stereotypes about us.

@02stanggt most of these cars are Autos because they make so much fucking HP, and its really hard to get a manual to put down 1,200+ H.P. and still have a street-able clutch, I agree with you on people driving autos, but in this case there's a reason.

@seroyer2 true, not only in terms of pedal pressure, but in pure drivability as well. The "grab", for lack of a better term, would make driving on the street a real pain. Anything less than just dumping the clutch would probably result in horrendous clutch chatter.

its a drag style gear box and shifter which is typical for a car of its era,heritage and type something you know nothing about with your four door saloons and 1.0L v20s lol. we invented fast so can it mr i can turn faster than you hahaha.
