with a twinturbo good intercooler and some heavy engineering you can get serious power out of it, but 7 to 800... wel maybe you can, but not when the engine is stil lookin this much of stock xD the biggest problem of vr6 (ectually the only problem) is keeping it cool in the very tiny engine room so seriously if you get 7-800 BHP out of that, you wouldn't have that tiny holes in the grille :P

my 2.8VR6 is 320hp to the wheels naturally aspirated with both my turbos @24lb i get 550hp. mine is a 2.8 and his is a 3.8 stroker he is NOT joking you can get that out of a VR6.

no you can get the bigger VR6 to 700 if you stroke it then deepen and shorten the cam. also balancing helps with RPM run it to 9000 rpm you don't need that much boost. get the differential throttle working right for high compression you can even do it with 87 octane gas!!! cooling is a big problem tho you cant do it for long. i need a huge oil cooler for mine and its only 550hp. but no one ever believe me either but i don't care its fun stomping on Ferraris with it.

This is actually a 2.8L VR6 engine (look at the intake manifold). Still a 24V (simmilar to an R32 engine) but different in bore, stroke, and head. And it is only FWD, not AWD.

No, you would probably get around 250-290 to the wheels max. Most stage one kits are meant for stock internals and can only run about 6-9 psi. So my guess is that you dont know what your talking about :)
All VR6 internals (rods, pistons, crank) are good to ~550 WHP/WTQ. Throw a headspacer into your VR6 and rod bolts and you can run those numbers no problem. Show me one bent rod from a turbo VR6 w/ less then those numbers...

corrado has about 200-300bhp because the corrado vr6 doesn't come with as much stockbhp as the newer vr6s. and the jetta is runing on 308bhp if its a stage one turbo kit. now if its above a stage 1 and with the width of those pipes its at least a stage 3 turbo kit which means its runing on at least 400bhp.
first:that car will probably only push out 300hp tops but its only about 2800lbs assuming he hasnt gutted it at all. 2nd;it would help if this guy new shit, same as some of the people writing on here. turbos wont have a pssh noise unless you have blow off valves and chatter can be because of high psi which is why many people recommend to stay under 6psi. its a nice car, but the people who made this video should know things and not just go to a mechanic and ask to do whatever will give them power

ma freind put turbo kit on his Jetta and got 350 hp. then after he changed the transmition 3 times!
HPA motorsports increase 3.2L to 550 hp with twin turbos. they also change the gear box and drive shafts to handel that power.

700-800, no way. For the non believers, though, they do make turbo kits for the 24valve VR6 capable of 400-450 whp (not crank). It's a very good motor.

That is the new 24v, and it has been proven that on many occasions anywhere from 8-12 psi will pop the plastic manifold in half.

"700-800 horses" my ass on 10 lbs of boost that is impossible... maybe 280 "horses" ill let you have that... but not no 700-800 on an MK3... trust me i use to have a boosted MK3 vr6... they are fast but not that fast homie...

corrado has about 200-300bhp because the corrado vr6 doesn't come with as much stockbhp as the newer vr6s. and the jetta is runing on 308bhp if its a stage one turbo kit. now if its above a stage 1 and with the width of those pipes its at least a stage 3 turbo kit which means its runing on at least 400bhp.

first:that car will probably only push out 300hp tops but its only about 2800lbs assuming he hasnt gutted it at all. 2nd;it would help if this guy new shit, same as some of the people writing on here. turbos wont have a pssh noise unless you have blow off valves and chatter can be because of high psi which is why many people recommend to stay under 6psi. its a nice car, but the people who made this video should know things and not just go to a mechanic and ask to do whatever will give them power

YOU can't block a waste gate! and it doesn't make a psshh!! noise. Turbos only chatter if something is wrong, or it could be the massive HKS SSQ Blow off Valve that makes the chatter noise, Learn about turbos!!!

Ahaa... but if you're a big fan of Cosworths, GT4s, Starions or any other classic turbocharged car then they all chatter... is there something wrong there? Chatter is just a fast rush of air out the turbo manifold to release pressure. A bit "chav" or "rice boy" as you Yanks say.
