When I went on the fair last year I think someone barfed on that. I was on another ride waiting for the operator to start it and the Zipper was right in front of it and when people were getting out i heard this splat noise and I heard some girl going like "Ohhhh fuuuu..." and someone was like "Oh my God; you barfed?" and so I'm scared to go on that ride.

I am looking up the Zipper ride today to let every parent out there know that this is a dangerous ride. My daughter and I had a near death experience on this ride last night. Our door opened at about 15 feet in the air as they were allowing other riders on, thank God the carnival worker noticed my blood curding screams as I was holding onto my daughter trying not to rock the basket. He reversed the ride, and let us off. If he wouldn't have noticed us, we would have died, or been seriously injure

My first time on this ride the power went out and we were stuck at the top for 45 minutes (I'm terrified of heights lol but I love coasters and insane rides go figure lol) but it was so scary cuz people kept rockin their cars and the whole thing would shake ugh!! But that was 7 years ago and the fair is this weekend so I'm gonna try the Zipper again, conquer my fear and just pray we don't get stuck again! Wish me luck :)

@frusmonkey they could of gotten you down...they didnt want to reset the brakes....a big enough person can climb up into the ride and ride the "H" bars down(one for each tub whats holdin the tubs to the cable round the boom) .....as long as airtank for the boom brake was operating of course(air lasts for a good time after the power went out).....the people fixing the generator probably kept telling him 5 minutes...iv left em sittin there and iv rode the hbars....both can be fun

A carny died at our local festival by this thing. Some money fell out of a cart and he tried to pick it up while the ride was still running. My brother's friends were in the cart that hit the back of his head and more of my brother's friends were in the cart that took all of the blood splatter. This ride was banned for a few years after in our town.
