Really there are so many options on how to pay for college, no one who truly wants it can't go.
Here in Calif. the governor is struggling with a $15 billion deficit on a budget of $150 billion. With that kind of budget deficit, tuition in Calif. is NEVER coming down. Maybe college isn't worth the cost and the pain of all that student debt.
Education costs are getting higher because chancellors and elitists that run universities get high pay and because textbooks cost more than scalped Hannah Montana concert tickets. At least you can play the diversity card by clipping your hair short, wearing motorcycle boots, and claiming you are "gender neutral". You likely will get some kind of scholarship or stipend.
