Cockatiels' are a domestic bird species in the U.S and shouldn't be released into the wild when kept as pets, a hawk would easily see them and catch them. The closest thing to the wild my birds will ever get is flying around on my screened in porch. And they don't attack people, and if they did it wouldn't be like a "lion".

You can not just have them in the cage, you should place them where they belong. I would never have someone of animals in the cage, everyone should be free, but I do not force you to do it. These domesticated birds are meant to be kept as pets, but the wild cockatiels in Australia should be aloud to fly free and shouldn't be cooped up in a cage, because they know how to survive in the wild. And my porch is pretty large, they have all the space they need, while being protected from predators.
