The force unleashed more realistic than Jedi Knight? HECK you cant even dismember anyone in SW:TFU neither can you move when using grip/lightning etc.. and the combat is like a fighting game and not a star wars game.

This is Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, one of the most modded games in existence, it's also the best and most realistic star wars game there is (yes, TFU fans, IT IS) especially when it comes to saber fighting .. nope... The mods are pc only. Unless you can hack your xbox and ad that file to your jediacademy/gamedata/base folder

actually, ive hacked many pc mods only, this being morrowind, halo, and halo2. im sure theres a possibility for the xbox.

No they arnt, xbox= microsoft :p They just hidden the files. Just gotta know where to find them :p A mate of mine hacks his xbox frequently and he gave me some 3d models of the game jedi knight outcast 2 (jedi academy is the next episode of this game) its just a matter of finding it really.

well theres a huge variation in definition of hack and mod.

he probobly got the files from the xbox, copied it to his HD, then FTPed it to his computer. From there he used a 3rd party converter. Other than that its impossible. Also, the xbox is Linux based, so makign it compatible on windows is nearly impossible.

never heard of ripping 3d files, due to the compression of all the sources. Its impossible to rip 3d files from XBOX files, otherwise id rip 3d files from morrowind

he means that a mod is something that will allow you to do something that, without it, you couldn't do.

using Bestgye244's example, you could play as Darth Vader using mods, but you can't play as him without a mod. skins aren't the only thing that can be modded, though. a lightsaber could become a sword, or have a different colour. or force powers could be added/changed.

Here you go; Mod is short for Modification. A modification for a game is a code/skin(character's look)/really anything else that changes how the game mechanics work. For instance, when playing Star Wars: Empire at War, I run a mod that removes the limit to units, and can play with thousands of extra units the game does not normally allow. In Jedi Knight 3 (video above), it has been modded to allow the player to use martial arts and be a predator.
