I love the meaning. The lyrics are just amazing, Leonard Cohen outdid himself, and so have you. =) Being a Chrisitan this song means so much to me. One of my favorite Bible stories is mentioned in it; David and Bathsheba. I also like the story about Samson, and the strength God gave him, which was taken away once his hair was cut. I believe the moral is to always thank God for what you have, to give him glory, instead of yourself. So thank you for updating it! I can't wait for the live version.
