I take exception to the words "Build Cars" the this Ryan Friedlinghaus throws around. They don't build anything. They just modify and assemble.

Did anyone see that nasty black and white two tone job they did on that Lamborghini? Look like an Oreo Cookie. Not cool at all.

@toscodav You clearly dont have a strong enough passion for cars to understand what "build" means, the amount of work put into a modified car like this is insane, you cant even comprehend the hassle's and head fucks these guys face every day. When the say build, dont mean building it from scratch, that would be designing and engineering too. The strip and a car to its shell, and build it back up, almost 100% custom. That is building cars.

The older guy (I think his name is SEAN) with the baseball cap and beard and glasses that does ALL the fabrication work on these Westcoast Customs cars ... HE IS WESTCOAST CUSTOMS! he is the main man behind these cars.. very experienced and skillfull fabricator. You wouldnt want him to go on vacation for too long if you had a deadline thats for sure!

they don't pay attention to the power-train or mechanics of the vehicle as much as Foose would ,, i mean if they do pay attention to it at all .. because most times they just dress up the engine at most.

i don`t know about that my friend.Chip Foose is a lil bit to conservative than these guys when it comes to customizing cars...He`s a mastermind,don`t get me wrong...but WCC are in a different league...

@vatakis1 i think foose designs is better since they tend to keep the cars somewhat more classic looking and WCC sometimes go overboard. but both make/do great custom work

@vatakis1 they challenged any shop that does the whole car in house, not sure foose does that, but then im not sure they design their own wheels whereas foose does, but fairplay they do heavy body mods, plus interiors and installs

So was the 2008 HEMI Charger that got a 1969-1970 DODGE Charger old shcool body put over it.

So you saw a 1970 Charger but when you look inside, underneath and in the engine bay it was ALL 2008 components and frame! THAT was crazy. It was also built for that same black CSI guy. It got painted  a Dark Forest Pearl Green.
